Anthropologie and NR are both entirely new options for me to check for cute readers. Thanks for ideas.

I am thinking about waiting a month or two (until after my vacation) for new jeans. I have quite a few pairs that do fit. It's just the dark wash trouser jeans that are too big and a few other pairs that I am not sad about leaving the closet.
I do wear denim to work now about 75% of the time - fun to dress it up and also easy and comfortable. But I have enough options in the closet to be able to wait and see how size stabilizes (I think!). Good suggestions on brands too Denise!

I seem to recall seeing some cool readers at Anthropologie, but not 100% sure. For frame of reference, I purchased some sunglasses there and they were $38.

As for new jeans, what kind are you looking for -- skinny, bootcut, straightleg, flare, etc. I am a big fan of premium denim but have also had luck with (don't laugh) the Urban Outfitters store brand BDG. Their jeans are around $58 and fit well for the price. I like Zara jeans as well but their fit is inferior to the UO jeans I think. If you're thinking premium, J Brand fit extremely well, as do True Religion and Rag & Bone (on me, at least). Really all of the premium brands have good product and I frequently get mine at 30% off on Shopbop.

I like Eyebobs - if I can find them on sale. I also got a great pair at Nordstrom Rack by Corrine McCormack (gosh that was hard to read cuz I had to take them off to read it!). They were also on sale at $20, I think.

My cheapest ones are from Marshall's - usually a 3-pack - but the 'correction' is not as nice as the better brands. I buy +2.0 in all of them and they are NOT created equal!

Nice side effect of busy work - the looser pants Not worth altering though? It would seem that for a few $$ each pair, you could be back in the wearing and save yourself another search. Or maybe try ONE pair to see if it's worth doing any more?

Good morning from the foggy Bay!

I have been lurking around periodically (blog post at least and one or two forum posts are all I can daily) and have given up trying to catch up even once a week. I miss seeing all the stylish and inspiring daily WIW posts and the goings on at YLF though.

I am still on the hunt for lightweight tops and blouses (especially if I can layer for cooler weather) and now finding some of the pants I bought a few months ago are already too big for me. (And I am not even attempting to lose weight - just the effect of crazy days at work - walking and eating small fairly healthy snacks/meals).
Luckily I didn't invest a lot of $$ since cost per wear is pretty high on those already. Thinking consignment since they are like new.

So I will need new jeans again and also , new "readers". The kind you can pick up at the drugstore or somewhere. I wear contacts but need the supplemental glasses for fine print (eye dr. recommended).
But are there chic or stylish versions? I have found the Zoom brand to have fun styles but looking for other options. Not too pricey since I lose them and break often it seems.
