Thanks Michelle! I am curvy but not plus size, and I am also tall. This winter I am going to try tights for the first time since I was 14 or so. I gave up on them when they were less popular and harder to find. Even with sheer hose though I often have two problems-- one the aren't quite long enough so the crotch slides down or they rip from overstretching. The second problem is sometimes the tights in "my size" (ha) and even a size up won't go over the top of my thighs (esp. with control tops) and therefore I have the same drop crotch issue.

This is good info!

Awesome, good to know! I actually bought these last winter because they are of the "waistbandless" variety, meaning the waistband isn't that horrible kind that cuts in and digs at your stomach all day. Last year they were only in black and few black patterns, happy to know now I will have more options!

Oh girls...surely by now you've read Angie's posts extolling the virtues of microfishnet hose and gasped in awe at the fabulous outfits some of the other lovely ladies have put together using them. Then, I suspect, you went to the stores and combed the hosiery section in search of these microfishnets, only to find that they stop at a large, or don't have quite the look you were after, or just don't work as well on your fuller legs.Allow me to present a sollution, albeit an expensive one:
http://www.spanx.com/product/i.....&sr=1

I just tried these on. I am not just curvy but very plus-sized. And they fit perfectly! These hose aren't in Spanx's plus line, but trust me, they fit. They have mad stretch and would work for a variety of body types. The weave is perfect. The top isn't too binding. Give these a try if you're in the market for curvy microfishnets!!

Before I found these, I also had luck with the Micro Mesh from Hue. Not as good quality, but held up fine with careful use.
