And even with a great discount, it was still quite expensive. But it's one of the few pieces I've ever tried where I thought "I will have this forever." One thing I noticed in the responses was a lot of "it's not you." I think we have to be careful to not hold others to rigid descriptors. Edgy or rock and roll might still be your primary style but don't we all like to shake things up occasionally? I remember when Suz tried some moto boots and got lots of "not your style" feedback. They were different but she liked them and (I think) she made them work with her style. Sorry for the detour. I think I'm glad I didn't post my coat last year as I'm sure some could have said it wasn't me and I am still quite glad I got it! I do have an element of that in my style (the floral dress I wore to stepson's wedding, don't you think?). It comes out mostly in my dressier moments and even in summer when my colors lighten and brighten, and my look skews a little softer. I could see that being a little more prevalent when I'm older (I.e. 70s maybe?) but not now.
