I was just going to have mine trimmed. But the seamstress took it upon herself to actually HEM them. I'm not sure it was the best idea, though it looks okay and doesn't seem to have hurt them. She felt the raw edge looked unfinished. Which I guess it did, a bit. Anyway, mine are below the knee - maybe an inch or so...not sure. I wanted them midi length still.</p> <p>BTW, interesting to know the petite is different in width, too. Hmmmm. But of course&nbsp;now it's too long. I notice that the edge is raw, not hemmed, and am wondering whether those of you who've had it shortened have had it actually hemmed or have just had it "trimmed"? Or if you've done either of those yourself?</p> <p>I'm also wondering about the length on petite moi - at the knee? Or 1" below? (sorry to not post pics, but there've been enough pics of this skirt floating around that I hope I can get away with that - so busy these days).</p> <p>Thanks for the input. </p>
