Is she a good friend?</p> <p>I agree with Celt--if you can determine what she wants--not meaning to be a yes-woman, but more of how can you help-- does she just view it as a fun social event, so doesn't expect to be "saved" from any fashion faux pas?&nbsp;Maybe &nbsp;she wants someone who can look at the whole outfit &amp; see things&nbsp;we can't see in those darn mirrors. &nbsp;Probably best to go in the direction you mentioned and keep things light. Maybe you'll say I prefer&nbsp; the medium, not the large, or this color makes you glow. Simple things like that with good wording! You'll figure out more as you go along, of course, as to whether she expects serious fashion feedback. She wants to go with me anyway, so I'm giving in. My plan is to have her picking the styles she wants and only advise on color and fit. Avoid talks about what is trendy, because she won't care.
