However, I don't think that the maxi *obscures* your shape. I think that your hourglass figure still shows. I think it is fun to have different silhouettes in your wardrobe because it gives variety. I personally think that your skirt looks good. It doesn't make you look banana shaped, if by that you mean it makes you look like you are built straight up and down, like a rectangle.
