I'm now torn between theses and the first pair!! These are half the price but a little lower in "boot" height than I'd like. Still to hear they are comfy is a big plus. Maybe I will wait and see if anything else online at Nordstroms sale tempts me before I decide where to spend my $$$. Re-inspired by Angie's post today, I would LOVE to get a pair of sandal booties. I haven't seen any in Aussie stores yet, so am worried we might not get them this season (we can be slow over here!) I've noticed they seem to be selling out online too. The 2 pairs I had bookmarked (<a href="http://www.freepeople.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.detail/productID/4ffeb8c8-dd88-4041-8e62-70af0030bd57/categoryID/4c88f41d-f714-4a74-9a3e-f8900cb8bfce">here</a> and <a href="http://www.modcloth.com/store/ModCloth/Womens/Shoes/South+Side+Sandals">here</a>) have both disappeared. This makes me scared I need to buy some toot sweet or risk missing out alotgether!!! Has anyone bought/tried any on that they can recommend?? I am wary about shelling out too much for such a "trendy" item. Yet at the same time I don't want to get a cheap pair that are unwearably uncomfortable. A padded sole would be great. And I don't know whether real leather or fake would be cooler either. I'd prefer a cognac/tan coloured pair, but at this stage I am thinking beggars can't be choosers!!
