I have had a seamstress do the same thing or not shorten wide cropped pants to where I asked. So frustrating. Can you let the hem out for the frayed look? Maybe someone could just put in a tiny hem. I have taken to wearing an old pair of heels to have a seamstress measure for length.
Then they usually end up closer to the length I want.

That’s how I feel too, Aquamarine. I’ve got some gold sneakers that I’ll probably do with them instead. The white doesn’t quite work for me either.

And after growing up with pants that were constantly too short I have real emotional struggles with pants that are short. I’m impatiently waiting for cropped pants to no longer be a thing.

No, IMHO they are not PPL, they are just too short. Just think how they will look like when seated or if fabric go in after laudering!:-( Length at back should reach the sole, or halfway furter down between sole and ground if sole is higher.

They seem a touch too short but then again, everything goes. Are these the shoes you will wear with them? Maybe it’s the stark contrast that’s making them look a bit short. Also, you can get pants shortened so that the front is shorter than the back. Men’s suit pants are frequently tailored this way. The front of these look fine...it’s the back that’s giving me pause.

Sorry to not to be more help.

Can you all help me with the PPL on these pants? They are a straight or maybe micro boot cut. I just had them hemmed, and the seamstress said this is where they should be. It seems too short to me, but I’m not sure if that’s because I typically wear boot cuts. There is a very small break at this length, so maybe it is right? I’m unsure.
