The side view does reveal why your shin is suffering as the shaft of the bootie doesn't go straight up, but angles toward your shin. That would be a sad deal breaker for me. I have narrow ankles and finding booties that aren't too "clunky" is tricky. The sleek fit here is tempting. </p> <p>Gray booties are major work horses for me, and the simplicity of those adds versatility. I'd try to keep the good features in a pair that fits comfortably. Unless the leather is super soft (almost like a heavy fabric), continued problems seem likely. </p> <p>Glad you are feeling better.
