I actually loooove how the pastel-ish blue looks with the black; pastels paired with black tend to pop more than brights do when paired with black (to me those look better paired with white or at least adding some white to the bright/black mix). Yesterday, I simply changed out my jeans while the top and cami from the black jeans outfit stayed. The same with bookending your hair - it is a neat trick but you do not have to do it every time. I have dark hair and I LOVE light footwear, especially in summer.
