I'm going to NYC where it'll be cold and rainy. So the outfit needs to be practical but also look nice.</p> <p>I am planning on wearing tweed salt-and-pepper wide-leg wool pants with a fine-gauge V-neck burgundy sweater and a dressier t-shirt underneath for layers.</p> <p>I am stumped on the outerwear, torn between a navy military-style wool jacket (H&amp;M from many seasons ago) and a cream faux-leather moto jacket (Zara from this Fall). Can you pair navy with black tweed? (Or black in general?) I think the moto jacket might look better but the wool jacket is a little warmer and more comfortable (pockets for hands as opposed to teensy zippered pockets where hands don't fit and zipper cuts skin).</p> <p>Sorry about photo quality, lighting is not the best.</p> <p>Oh yes, to make it even tougher to decide, I just moved into a new place and don't have a full-length mirror yet!
