Great to have another aussie on board!<br /> Sounds to me like you need something fun yet practical, particularly if you'll be running around after little ones.<br /> May I suggest a couple of the following:<br /> 1 a casual dress or tunic over leggings, paired with ballet flats or a low heel<br /> 2. Jeans (in a silhouette of your choice, though maybe boot cuts would boost your confidence more) paired with some sort of printed top? V-neck tops are usually great for us hourglass ladies. The same shoe options as above would work with this ensemble too. Throw in a necklace or scarf and you're done!</p> <p>If you want more specific tips on dressing your body, it would help to post a picture of yourself on this forum so the experts can chime in. My daughter's 1st birthday party is coming up &amp; I have no idea what to wear. I have never been so stuck!</p> <p>I just turned 25 &amp; after having my daughter had a major body shape change, I had always been an inverted triangle &amp; now I am an hourglass. I really have no idea how to dress my new shape or how to dress for my new role as "Mummy". I haven't really been out anywhere since my LO was born.</p> <p>The party is in the day &amp; being held in our indoor/outdoor entertaining area &amp; although its winter here in Australia the weather is still very mild. There will be 30 guests made up of friends &amp; family &amp; the dress is smart casual.</p> <p>Any assistance or suggestions you can offer me would be very much appreciated. </p>
