Regarding the trip, we are leaving in a week. I would have liked more time to really prepare for it but with my job being as crazy as it has been, I haven't really had that luxury. It will be a wonderful trip regardless. I also think the weather will still be a bit cool so I am trying to layer.

Sihaya, I will take a side a back view of the striped tunic. I guess I want to get things that are great not just so so. So I want to be sure that I'm in great territory. I'm not getting that from the responses so far.

I'm thinking I should return tunic #2. I was intrigued by the fact that it was different than my usual style and I have challenged myself to get a floral this year. But this may not be the one. I'm thinking I may need to get a sweet pea top for this purpose but that isn't in the cards before the trip because I want to save as much as I can for the trip.

I will also post a better lit picture of the suit, which I do love. The fabric quality and the details are just beautiful. I need to contact J Crew to see if they do free alterations, which would just be the icing on the cake if they did.

I'm keeping the shoes. They are a bit of a stretch for me, but I really want to make them work. You'll have to keep on me about that.

Tara, no need to apologize for your reiteration. I appreciate the sentiment because it's the reason I'm here in the first place.

Thank you all for your feedback. It is much appreciated.

How fabulous, Alecia! Those are both breathtaking cities. You will have a superb time.

Here’s my 2 cents on your goodies:

o	KILLER sandals if your feet are happy in them.

o	Like Joy, I like the striped tunic much better than the yellow tunic. I find it more flattering and more your style.

o	Clams have great potential – you can hem a little shorter for sure.

o	I really want to SEE the suit, but the picture is dark. Think you can take another one?

o	The skirt and cream top outfit with the heeled gladiators is KILLER. And hi Lucy :0)

I like the suit though it was difficult to see, you should hem the capris. I think the second blouse might be better unbelted.

I like Top 1, the capris will look great as clams. The suit looks great and I love the whole look in the last photo. I am in the minority here, but I think you could go for a darker shade in the shoes (red-black, gold-black).

Hi Alecia - I hope you have a fantastic trip! So glad that you get to enjoy some much deserved time off.

Top #1 - seems fine but hard to tell if it's figure flattering or not without the side and back views.

Top #2 - I am not a fan. There's something about the neck/sleeves area that's not working for me.

Skinnies - look great.

Capri - yes, hem.

Suit - the picture's too dark for me to tell about the pants but in general it looks well fitting and great.

Shoes - killer and so is the outfit with it. Both the blouse and the skirt are super flattering on you.

Those shoes are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous on you. Your J Crew suit is also gorgeous. Good job shopping.
I think the tops can work with the clamdiggers or something like them that is more summery than the jeans. When looking at the pictures I felt like they needed bottoms that were light colored and more summery. I like the striped one alot, and especially since you say you love stripes. That makes it a signature piece for you.
I think the clamdiggers would be best hemmed.

Alecia, that sounds like a wonderful trip that you have planned. I really like your new JCrew suit and know you'll get lots of use out of it.
As for the tops, I may be in the minority but I like the first one better than the second. I don't think either do your figure justice, but I'm still adjusting to volume in tops.
The future clam diggers look like they could be just a tiny bit shorter than you have pinned them so that they hit right on the lower knee rather than below it. It might make your legs look even longer.
The new shoes look great with the bonus of being comfy. Love the snakeskin look. You've been busy!

Alecia, what a great trip! I have been to both cities and they are equally beautiful! When is the trip? I remember being in Vienna in early July and it was pretty warm.
I don't know about the capris so I will leave that to others. I like everything else that you posted. The first top makes you look a bit more bottom heavy compared to the other one because how it fits tightly around your hips. I am simply in love with the shoes, they are gorgeous!

I'm soon to be on my way to Vienna and Prague. It's a long awaited trip that will allow me to rest after a quarter of full-on engagement at work. I can't wait. But before I can enjoy the trip, I have to pack. In planning for the trip, I thought it would be great if I could take my skinnies. I thought that would require new tops as I think I need a bit of a longer top with the skinny. But I'm now rethinking skinnies altogether. I feel pretty self-conscious about them. I need help. So, of course, I come to you. I also have a few other new things that need critique. I hope you'll oblige.

Here's the album:http://s508.photobucket.com/al.....%20review/
password - ylf2009

I think I'll also post the individual links.

Top 1 - The two tops I thrifted. I have a real love of stripes but I'm not sure I should love them so much. In addition to the stripe issue, is the fact that this top (dress?) is very clingy. I thought it looked ok in pictures at the store but now I think I may look like a stuffed sausage. What do you think? http://i508.photobucket.com/al.....0_9278.jpg

Top 2 - This second top is actually a dress. I thought I could belt it like a tunic and maybe blouse it out a bit at the top. In this picture, I did not do any blousing. I should have taken a picture of that, but didn't. What do you think? Can I make it work?
http://i508.photobucket.com/al.....0_9279.jpg

Kind of off topic but on this thrifting trip, I tried on a one shoulders top. That particular one didn't quite fit right, but I think I want one!

Alter? - These are some capris that I got in a clothing swap. Do you think I should bother to have them hemmed to clam length? (Sorry about the cami by itself. I was kind of in a hurry.)
http://i508.photobucket.com/al.....0_9280.jpg

J Crew Suit - I finally got my j crew suit! Charcoal with pinstripe. The only issues is that the pants don't fit me like the pair I tried in the store. I don't think I can go down a size because of my thighs and bum so hope that alterations in the waist get rid of the wrinkles in the front. They're not caused from being too small but having a big gap at the waist. Or at least that's what I think they're from.
http://i508.photobucket.com/al.....0_9281.jpg

new shoes - I got some me toos for the trip. When shopping for them, I tried on a bunch of gladiators styles for fun. I've not had much success with gladiators. I think I don't have delicate enough ankles for them. But I found these which seem kind of in gladiator mode but that I thought were better suited for me. They are also a snakeskin print, which was on my list of things to get in some accessory. And even more, they are so comfortable. My feet sang when I put them on after a bunch of flat gladiators. It was pretty impressive. But I'm still not sure if they work for me.
http://i508.photobucket.com/al.....0_9273.jpg

http://i508.photobucket.com/al.....0_9276.jpg

Thanks everyone!
