I love them with the skirt (If you have a flowy, non-pencil skirt, that could be fun too) and really like the idea of pairing them with leggings (or jeggings) and a longer-length tunic too. That green ponte knit dress is beautiful and will look fab with your houndstooth blouse, definitely try your new boots with that as well.</p> <p>I'm also loving the idea of trying them with jeans or even a pair of trousers tucked in (perhaps the leather will still stretch a little too). Right now I really like the not so sleeked tucked in look, where the pants are bunching (perhaps not the right word) a bit just above the top of the boots. I'll try to find a picture.</p> <p>P.S. I was able to zip them, barely, but they are too long with the boots so bunched up at the knees. Folding the pants at the hemline made for too much bulk and the boots wouldn't zip. Lovely sheen, lightweight and, well, beautiful. Of course they came with a storage bag and a nice note from the Anyi Lu team. Thank you Anyi Lu! The length is good, but my "generous" non-gamine like legs and feet filleverymoleculeofspace so I will be wearing trouser socks and there will be no tucking of pants.</p> <p>It is difficult to see the sheen and buckle detail of the boots in the pics with me, but the individual shots of the boots are better.</p> <p>I would really like to wear them so the boot is showcased, but maybe that isn't such a good idea given my large legs? You can see in pic 6 how snug they are to my ankles. Included are pics with a skirt and some black knit jeans. I've also ordered a green ponte knit jumper (pic 5) that I thought might be fun with my houndstooth blouse. It is also available in black.</p> <p>I'd love to hear your suggestions as I want to do these lovely boots justice as best I can. Thank you! </p>
