You can buy it from the drugstore in the foot area, either by the roll or smaller ones the size of bandaids. Today is the first wearing of&nbsp;my gorgeous cut leather (faux lizard skin)&nbsp;ankle boots (which I just&nbsp;got&nbsp;at half price, yessss!) and which have a&nbsp;texture that feels as interesting as it looks. The matte&nbsp;leather has been scored in a diamond pattern with a razor, and&nbsp;each tiny "scale"&nbsp;has been undercut&nbsp;at the lower point, causing the end to curl back.The result is&nbsp;lovely to touch. Stroking these boots&nbsp;feels like&nbsp;stroking a towel, just as if they had a&nbsp;"pile"... anyways, while I was walking around in them today and&nbsp;wearing my wide leg pants, I noticed my pants hem kept catching on the back of the boots. After a few repeats of this, I discovered that the tiny "scales"&nbsp;were the cause; their points were catching on the&nbsp;stitching along the&nbsp;inside of the pants hem, Worse,&nbsp;the thread was&nbsp; seriously ripped and&nbsp;unravelling.<br />I did a quick emergency repair by placing sticky tape over the inside hem&nbsp;stitching, to create a smooth non-catchable surface. This worked, but I think the sticky tape is going to fall off pretty soon and become a problem in itself.<br />&nbsp;Is there a more permanent solution to stopping the hem&nbsp;threads&nbsp;catching on the boots? do any of you have any ideas?&nbsp; </p>
