It's interesting because I have seen banded hems suggested for some body types (can't remember which, thinking apple shapes) but have yet to see it flatter anyone, But that makes sense with the tapering cylinder body shape; perhaps a less common torso shape? When I am at a lower weight, I will wear them and they seem to be okay?? But it just depends on the cut and type of blouse entirely. The colors spoke to me. It’s a gorgeous mix of chocolate, eggplant, orange, crimson, black, and beige. There is a copper metallic thread shot through the entire length of it. </p> <p>However, the style isn’t as good on me as I thought it would be. I’m starting to wonder if peasant/boho styles even suit me? And I don’t think banded hems are my best. </p> <p>I love the print and colors for me IMMENSELY!!! Like scream from the rooftop “oh my gooooooosh!” The fit? it just doesn’t feel good on me.</p> <p>I tried it with my navy sweatpants slacks. I feel meh about it. Skinny jeans might be better. </p> <p>I think it’s best tucked? Belted seems weird with the banded hem. Loose is okay but seems too long or frumpy perhaps? </p> <p>Would a pencil skirt save it?? </p> <p>My other thought is save it for the fabric and recut another blouse out of it down the road.
