It is hard to tell. The sneaker on the left looks wider and casual, and the one on the right looks more stream-lined, but that is really minor. Go for comfort. I have a pair of SAS sneakers that are 15-20 years old and still look and feel like new...we'll sort of broken in. So the cost per wear can be a consideration. All your outfits look great. You may like a polka-dot jacket better than a cardigan. Shoes are pretty tricky for me anymore, and I’ll admit I am surprised at how well these shoes fit. I have a narrow heel and wider forefoot, and also need a very flat shoe with structure and support. This shoe feels like it has a very small “drop” between the heel and the toe, yet still supportive and cushioned.<br /> -I think I like the look and price of the DCs a little better, but the SAS feel fantastic(like my running shoes)...tough to beat!<br /> -I do need to hem those pants a bit, which is a wonderful dilemma for me<br /> -here’s another pic of the dress (Boden is the best!) with a different topper that I’ve had for a while. Does it look current? I can no longer stand all day in the shoes I once wore, and I’m struggling with how to implement that with style. For a little while I’ve just been wearing some running shoes with my outfits, but I’d like to update that if possible. I’m a modern classic 6’ pear, and tend to brand myself as a ‘librarian’ look. So this is a little more artsy than I’m used to.<br /> Here are some possible outfits I tried, if you can let me know what you think. I think some work.<br /> -the blazer is a boyfriend blazer from 2010? Does it look relevant to today?<br /> - I’m not sure why the Polka dot sweater look doesn’t quite click, if you have any ideas.<br /> -I wear a size 12 shoe, so I worry that with the dress it looks like I have clown feet.<br /> -I know the white button up under the green sweater is snug and I’d need to size up.<br /> Your thoughts? </p>
