I think this qualifies as <b>AT LEAST</b> as important!)&nbsp;</p> <p>I think these are great for your style and should get lots of wear. I prefer them with the pants rolled a bit. I agree that today's outfit showcases them a bit better.&nbsp;</p> <p>How about trying them with the BFs and some different tops so you can see? I know it's a pain, but trying on is usually the only way to know for sure if it will work. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/help-me-style-these-pointy-toed-shooties#post-1199995 Thu, 20 Mar 2014 15:27:09 +0000 MuseumGal 1199995@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>On Tuesday I drove a full draft of the Dis down to my advisor!&nbsp; As a reward, I bought myself these Born "anthracite" shooties.&nbsp; The color is supposed to be grey, but they look more brownish/taupish to me.&nbsp; The pointy toe is a stretch for me, so please help me figure out how to wear these.</p> <p>1) The shooties.&nbsp; They seem <i>much</i> more dramatically pointy IRL than these photos!</p> <p>2) My first try, from yesterday, which is pretty blah all round - I'm thinking the pants should be shorter or longer, and the top either more oversized or more fitted.</p> <p>3) Today I paired the same olive trousers with a slightly more fitted navy T, and like the general silhouette better.&nbsp; I also tried with the pants rolled all the way down and then rolled a bit higher.&nbsp; Not sure which I prefer.</p> <p>What do you think?&nbsp; Can you give me some pointers for styling these shooties?&nbsp; I envisioned wearing them mostly with either these olive trousers or boyfriend jeans, and like the idea of showing some ankle with them, but need help to get the proportions and general look right. </p>
