The fabric is quite thick and stretchy. I've worn them eight times according to my spreadsheet, and they are still in great shape. The only downside is that they are handwash only, which is a pain. They have a nice leather look to them and are very comfortable. They do really well with sweaters because of,that shiny element they add to the look.
