I was hoping for something closer in color to the subtley variegated Sid Pointy Toes with croc-embossing. But those heels are out; I do need realistic shoes—which is why the Vs are so appealing.</p> <p>Any other advice, suggestions or insights welcome. The initial goal would be to extend late summer/early fall-wear dresses into cooler temps with the enclosed bootie and to make basic shifts and sheaths a bit more trendy. I found the ones below at Nordstrom Rack. They are probably too white but have a bit of tan mixed in. They are comfortable and true to size, with a few silver-toned metal studs on the back.
