My first instinct was denim because that would work more with my lifestyle. Angie's recent post about midi skirts coming back in the fall makes me think there will be more updated options coming up. Not sure the folds, pleats and drape would be as graceful if done in denim. The only places I've seen skirts like this have been in thrift shops- some gorgeous pleated skirts I've passed by because, at my age, I think pleats would look very dowdy.
