I've got Bellevues booties and I took a 9 because that's what they had locally (and I'm impatient), but a 9 1/2 would have been better. But I also have wide feet. </p> <p>That extra inch of heel height may kill them for you too. I realized earlier this week when I posted about my round toe booties that I feel like a dressy booty has to have a pointy or almond toe and heels for me. Round toes don't work as well for me. That's just what my eye likes, though.
