I am not too keen on the pant outfits just because I find khaki pants generally unflattering and ubber casual, even more so than jeans. I'm heading to a writers conference next week and I'm trying to figure out what to wear. I need to have three days of outfits that work for air conditioned buildings in a hot part of the country. I'm aiming for something that looks pulled-together and responsible but not too staid, with a bit of artistic flair. Things that pack easily would be a bonus but I can iron and do laundry once I get there. </p> <p>Outfit 1/2 is centered around a sleeveless shirtdress I recently thrifted and thought would be perfect - until I got it home and wasn't so sure about the shape of it. </p> <p>Outfit 3 I really like personally but worry it's too dark and boring. (Belt still has tag on, that would obviously change.)</p> <p>The rest are attempts to find some options for a third outfit. </p> <p>Thanks for any feedback or other suggestions. </p>
