I'd keep them if only for occasional use. They're great with BF and slim leg jeans as per your photos and seriously, they suit your your slim feet and ankles. They'd also be fabulous with a dress for special occasions. Get your booties as well so you have both options depending on the weather and occasion. They are truly beautiful. I love the shape of the heel. However, I think the voice of the people is correct here -- it doesn't look like you're going to wear them. Well, except...you know, I'm <i>way</i> more of&nbsp;a "Bootie-Gal" more than a "Pumps-Gal" too, but I do have a couple of pairs of beautiful pumps which I wear a lot more than I thought I did. They are not everyday shoes, but the number of times I slip them on with a pair of skinny jeans and a tee shirt -- usually for a casual evening out, like the movies -- is surprising. (I know this because I've been keeping track of what I wear since last October!). Could you not wear your gorgeous pumps in that setting? Do you go to the movies? They would look so great with a dark pair of jeans, a white tee shirt and a black topper.</p> <p>If you do decide to purge them, go to the Fluevog website and look up "Fluemarket" (on a pull-down menu). You can buy and sell used Fluevogs there. Fluevogs are beautiful enough that people buy them spur-of-the-moment, and sometimes weird enough that they discover they can't make them work with what they already have. Thus there are lots of unworn or barely worn shoes for resale. I'm not even sure why now, but I think it had something to do with a black and olive dress that I no longer even own. </p> <p>Well, I bought these beautiful Fluevogs, wore them maybe twice, and they've been sitting in my closet unworn since. Somehow they have resisted my purgings thus far, but I'm determined to wear what I have, so I want to finally make a decision on these.</p> <p>There are a few issues to consider:</p> <p>- I rarely -- and I mean really rarely -- ever wear pumps. My life is so casual, and for me they're generally transitional footwear for fall or spring. In summer I wear sandals and in winter I wear boots. </p> <p>- The color is a bit more brick than burgundy, and I prefer a slightly bluer-toned deep red. </p> <p>- They are maybe half-day shoes as far as comfort goes. I walk a lot and am demanding more walkability out of my shoes lately.</p> <p>I toyed with the idea of dyeing them black or even metallic (perhaps a gunmetal?), which would possibly make me reach for them more -- they would then fill the occasional hole I have for a simple yet interesting shoe I can wear to something like a funeral but also with funkier outfits. I thought the Sam Edelman Ollie's might fill that void, but alas, they do not work on my low-volume foot. </p> <p>What do you think? Worth the effort to keep and dye? Or sell 'em? They're in great shape...and the quirkiness of Fluevog styles seems to defy trend... </p>
