However, I only considered to wear it together. I don’t like the vest’s back and lack of buttons on the top part. Worn together it would be a nice, warm coat but with unlined sleeves. Although they are both long toppers they have a very different vibe — structured vs soft. That might make them less likely to split each others’ wears. Though rachylou mentioned your navy gilet and that made me wonder if the rust one might split wears with that. BUT, at a certain point if something is a signature look, you actually want to split wears bc you want multiple ways of creating the look. It is well made and light and I would wear both sides a ton, both with more professional and casual looks. Together it is a topcoat; alone each piece is a vest or a lighter cardigan. It is well thought out and well made. </p> <p>I like this one too because I can wear it together for warmth to the office, and then wear one piece or another as a light layer indoors. The color works with my color scheme and the clean cut would work with many outfits.</p> <p>My worry is these two are too similar, but the way the pieces come apart,I could actually wear both many different ways and they may complement each other. </p> <p>What do you think?
