That is so cute that your son called your coat 'ninja'!</p> <p>I went to the Burberry store today and tried out all three coats. It was definitely helpful to look through all the coats online so I could tell them right off the ones I was interested in! For me the Buckingham worked better than the Marystow, but the one I loved the most was definitely the shorter Mottram! The SA told me that the 'Trench' color would be better for my skintone than 'Honey' and since that's the more classic color anyway, I didn't try the honey color. So today I came home with a size 0 Mottram! Size 2 would have been good too if I wanted to wear more underneath it, but I wasn't planning to. It fits really great, and I'm pretty sure it won't need any alterations. Best of all, it was 25% off the online price, so I saved $271 from the online price (including tax)! It pays to buy off season :)</p> <p>I'll still wait till I get the DKNY and Kristen Blake and have time to get some second opinions, but I suspect it'll be tough to beat the Burberry! I have a Burberry trench and It is one of my favourite wardrobe items. My only regret is not investing in it earlier. I wore it today and my teenage son told me my coat was "ninja" which is very high praise indeed. </p> <p>I am 5' 4" and I got the shorter length and I think it is the Maryston? I went to my local Burberry store and the staff brought me the different styles and were extremely helpful in assisting me. When I put "mine" on it was total love from the get go. There is a fit and length for everyone so make sure you take your time to get the perfect one. I am cool toned so I have the black and it works with everything I have. </p> <p>Get the most classic colour that suits your skin tone would be my advice. It turns out the store near me has the three styles I'm interested in (Buckingham, Mottram, Marystow) in most of the sizes and colors that should fit me, so I'll head into the store soon and try them out. I find it really helpful to look online beforehand though to figure out what I might like in advance.
