Ditto to the suggestion of trying Athleta. Their summer bottoms are go-to’s for me. I also rely on Pilcro cropped chino and utility pants from Anthro, but not sure if the fit is right for you since I think we have different body types. In general, I’d try chino, utility or jogger styles — I size up for extra ease in fit in hot weather. They have the benefit of pockets too!</p> <p>I also wear shorts (longer ones) from Kut, Old Navy, etc., and I do wear skirts more in the summer too, but sometimes pants really are the right answer, so I get it! I've been living in my Eileen Fisher black harem pants for the past year or two and would like some different silhouettes, fabrics, etc. Just for a change, you know.</p> <p>So, what do you recommend for a petite apple-shaped person who likes comfort, pockets, some personality, and maybe even to show off her legs?&nbsp; </p>
