Very pretty bag! I also suggest a cobbler or a horse-riding articles shop (selleria). They are used to work with leather.

Thanks for your replies! I doubt conditioning would be enough, as the color has really faded in some areas. I will try to ask for re-dyeing, probably in a slightly darker red.
Thanks for the suggestion to contact the manufacturer, Taylor. Who knows, they might help me...

Agreeing with those who mentioned dying .. a good shoe repair/cobbler could do that for you if you would rather not take it on yourself.
I am not familiar with this brand but the manufacturer might dye it for you for a fee. You may want to contact them .

I’ve rehabbed many old Coach bags. Usually they’re really dry and faded looking. I use Lexol, which was recommended by Subaru for my car seats. I would use the leather cleaner and then the conditioner.

I agree with the dyeing suggestions. A darker color will hide the issues. Black, navy, dark brown, burgundy...

I agree trying a cleaner and conditioner first. If that doesn’t work you could speak to a cobbler about dying it?

Have you considered dying it, either in the same colour or a different one?
Rae and ClearlyClaire (former forum members) did that successfully. Here are some old threads:

Good evening ladies. I have had this Pennyblack purse for about 8 years, and now it shows some heavy signs of discoloration.
What do you suggest I could do? The bag is overall in good shape, the internal lining is intact.
