Flats are actually preferable - it's just finding cute ones! The cobalt color is the thing she cares about more than than anything else. The Rachel Zoe ones are definitely promising, and I sent them right along! These are my MOH duties. I'm okay with it. I can't imagine a kitten heel ever being shorter than 1", much less in a non-classic color like cobalt.  Is your friend willing to give up on the pump style?  (Ballet) flats might give her more options.
