Perfect for Spring and Summer. The shoes are amazingly comfortable (around the house for 4 hours so far) and have good cushioning in the front, and a solid sturdy heel. Comfort-wise, they may likely be 6 to 8 hour shoes. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that I can wear for extended periods of time, so these seem promising that way.<br /> My issue with them is the leather is a bit different than I expected and I worry that the style is a little "twee" (little girl or even granny). The shoes are a bit darker than in the online pics (that I like) but more shimmery -- a silvery taupe. I'm not sure if I'm a glitter girl though.<br /> If you would wear them, how would you wear them? I'm not used to lighter shoes (mostly dark wardrobe and dark brown hair) so this is new territory for me.<br /> I have a pair of ankle strap flats from Clarks that were a similar leather and I put mink oil on them and they became slightly darker and more matte. Should I try it with these? Or should I just return them and keep loo-oo-oo-king?<br /> I should probably add that I get dressed each day starting from the feet and work my way up -- my shoes determine my outfit since I have so many issues with my lower extremities.<br /> Any advice anyone has is also appreciated.
