The shoes run a little big. What is your European size?  Ramya, these are  definitely comfy, but I'm still breaking them in. I suspect they will be fine for work etc, when I'm not running all the time. They run a little big. I'm between sizes, so I went down one number, which was fine.  Unfrumped, I hear you on having a focus. For me, all investment shoes will probably have almond toes. I can't afford to update my entire shoe selection that often, so I'll stay with the classics. I've had to come to the conclusion  that some trends, like pointy-toes, are not good for my feet, though would be okay for an event night perhaps. So I've re-embraced rounded-toed shoes, including some that are a form of ballet flat but aiming for styles with more structure, a slightly higher vamp ( needs not to cut right at bunion-level), slightly more almond or elongated than the snubby ballet flat but still with an adequate toe box. I also have black leather ballet flats, and I find I rarely wear any of them. I needed a shoe with a low heel that can be comfy for several hours, and these will mix & match nicely with most pants and skirts/dresses in my wardrobe.  They have 1 1/2" heels, and are more refined than my other flats, but not too dressy. I hope I will be wearing them a lot. The little heel and the pointy toe are hopefully a better choice with longer skirts and cropped pants than ballet flats. The old flats will be donated to my daughters :) This is my only purchase during the final end of season-sale this year (patting myself on the back). I got them at half price, which was a good buy - but now I really don't need much else from the S/S collections. May I stay strong!
