I’ve really been enjoying the posts on YLF for awhile and felt like it was time to dive in and interact with you all if you’ll have me:) </p> <p>I just turned 40 and am trying to find my style after having put on more weight than I’d like. I love color and have been depriving myself of the patterned pants I so love because I’ve been ashamed of my shape. But then I decided that shame shouldn’t dictate how I view myself (and shame was encouraging me to hide in dark colors and baggy fits). I saw Angie’s post on patterned pants for all shapes awhile ago and was inspired. So I want to embrace the crazy pants:)</p> <p>I just received several pairs of Boden Richmond 7/8 pants in fun colors and patterns. I ordered both a UK 12 and 14. Size 14 looks and feels better just now, but I had Richmond shorts from about 3 or 4 years ago that looked great for 3 hours and then loosened so much I could pull them off when they were buttoned and zipped up. The fabric blend is the same on the old and the new but it feels a bit different to the touch. </p> <p>Has anybody tried the current Richmonds and do they hold their shape or loosen as the day goes on? </p> <p>Any advice would be much appreciated:) </p>
