My life was very much in flux last year but now I have a clearer idea of who I am and what I want to do, the rest seems to be much easier. I think some of my confusion about my clothes was a reflection of my confusion about myself. </p> <p>Also, I started identifying outfits from Angie's blog or from the forum encapsulated the look I wanted and trying to break them down into elements I could copy. I particularly liked the "casual Friday" blog post looks and Angie's smart casual looks, which led me to try jeans again after banishing them from my closet last year.</p> <p>I have added some new things to my closet, but I am actually getting more use out of things I already had. I have a suit jacket that I have worn twice this week, whereas I think I had only worn it about 5 times since I bought it 2 years ago. I must have liked it to have bought it, but I couldn't work out HOW to wear it before, so it was underused.</p> <p>This season I have bought 2 pairs of jeans, 2 tunics, a long cardigan, a tuxedo jacket and a pair of boots. So a fair amount, but by no means a whole new wardrobe.</p> <p>KP, lovely to see you too! I love my bag - best birthday present ever! I use it every day. Things are getting back to normal in my suburb, which is nice. I will try and get hubby to take a photo or two this week.
