That's enough that the younger crowd is bombarded with unattainable perfection in every ad, magazine, movie, etc. - leave us age without that pressure&nbsp;!</p> <p>On the other hand,&nbsp;Helen&nbsp;Mirren, Catherine Deneuve, Jane Fonda, Sophia Loren,&nbsp;etc. are NOT ordinary women. They started with exceptional genes and it is/was part of&nbsp;their job to remain beautiful (not mentioning personal trainer, dietitian, etc.)&nbsp;We&nbsp;certainly shouldn't take&nbsp;their pictures as an example of&nbsp;what an ordinary sixty-odd is supposed to look like. I've decided that I am a beautiful woman with imperfections and the fact that I don't have Helen Miren's abs doesn't ruffle me one bit. But I think the fashion is separate from the body stuff. The green dress could work for a lot of older women. The bikini is another matter! And I'm not age discriminating, I'm out of bikinis since having kids.<br />Now this isn't Helen's fault at all, and I too love her (mostly for her attitude), but all the focus on her fab body had the effect of my mother in law feeling insecure about her average 65 yo body. She lives a healthy lifestyle but has an imperfect body, like most people. It made me realize that these photos can affect us at any age.
