				<description>&#060;p&#062;I did a walk/ job for 25 mins on the treadmill and so far that is it. Had a sore leg over the weekend so a planned job was demoted to a walk.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Have kept up with my temporary cutting out of refined carbs and sugars and am down over a kilo and back into my normal range. I have been here before though, and know it is very easy to go straight up again so am keeping it up until the first christmas party!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Had a couple of&#038;nbsp;rather overindulgent food days last week, and I'm anticipating the holiday weekend will be more of the same (plus no workouts since I will be out of town and busy) so I've been&#038;nbsp;trying to eat healthy and add a couple more workouts than normal these few days.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Marley, I switched to 1% milk in my coffee ages ago, and now I think half and half tastes gross! &#038;nbsp;It makes my coffee taste oily and icky. &#038;nbsp;So, this is to say you'll get used to the milk&#038;nbsp;and maybe even get to prefer it!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I maintained this last week and did keep a food diary all week.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am discouraged though. &#038;nbsp;From doing the upper body exercises in physical therapy I have developed tennis elbow and it is painful. &#038;nbsp;Fortunately I guess, it is in my left arm. &#038;nbsp;At first I thought maybe I bumped it somewhere, but the pain is now in the tendons. &#038;nbsp;I did some research and found out that people who have had rotator cuff injuries are prone to tennis elbow.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;(Raises hand.) &#038;nbsp;In the early 80s I had a cuff injury from working out at Nautilus on what I found out was referred to among PTs as the &#034;pec wreck&#034; machine. &#038;nbsp;I'd never had a serious injury and waited (it was Thanksgiving week) until after the holiday to see a doctor. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;While working out I realized that my left side was noticeably weaker than the left, but I assumed that it was because I was right handed. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am done with physical therapy for now, and will see the physiatrist Dec 11. &#038;nbsp;My DH has had tennis elbow before (from racquetball) has &#038;nbsp;a brace that I am using and it is already helping after part of one day. &#038;nbsp;I have an old book, the&#038;nbsp;&#060;i&#062;Doctor's Sports Medicine Bible,&#038;nbsp;&#060;/i&#062;which has some simple strengthening exercises to begin with. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I felt like the therapist was pushing me too hard to fast, but ignored my feeling of dread. &#038;nbsp;Moral: &#038;nbsp;listen to your gut. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I hope to make it through this week without gaining. &#038;nbsp;I will be traveling though, so this will not be easy. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I don't know if I posted this or not, but I overdid it at boot camp class a week or two ago and it's set me back some.&#038;nbsp; I have an appointment with my surgeon tomorrow to see whether I've done any damage.&#038;nbsp; Gah.&#038;nbsp; So annoying.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;In other, general &#034;healthy habits&#034; news, I have the week off so I am doing some general health stuff in the next couple of days while I have the time:&#038;nbsp; gyno checkup and eye doctor in addition to the check-in with the surgeon.&#038;nbsp; I've maxed out my out-of-pocket health expenses for the year so it makes sense to do as much as I can before the end of the year so the insurance will pay 100%!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;For Thanksgiving I am taking my parents to a restaurant (Marley -- it's Seasons 52, where we all ate during Shoptoberfest!) so at least there won't be leftovers to tempt me!&#038;nbsp; And they have small portions and tiny desserts so I don't think it will be too bad.&#038;nbsp; I might get a dessert or two to go for later in the evening... ;)&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Oh, and I am going to boot camp class at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day!&#038;nbsp; It's my holiday tradition!&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I had a good week.&#038;nbsp; I got to Boot Camp 3 times this week - and walked 3 other days.&#038;nbsp; But, the most significant improvement for me was that I finished my 3rd week in a row&#038;nbsp;of no Diet Cokes (actually, no soda of any kind) - and no candy - not even Milk Duds!&#038;nbsp; Also, stopped putting Half &#038;amp; Half in my coffee - switched out to 1% milk - sooooo nasty tasting compared to the Half &#038;amp; Half!&#038;nbsp; I plan to eat everything on Thanksgiving Day - in moderation - but, no deprivation.&#038;nbsp; How about you guys?

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I had a very bad week.&#038;nbsp; I blame it on the perimenopause hormone imbalances.&#038;nbsp; I had it under control for a month or so but this past week was craving chocolate and other junk.&#038;nbsp; I think I am back on track and did my elliptical and treadmill time yesterday and just finished 75 minutes so I hit the target for today too.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am traveling this week so it will be a challenge for both food and exercise.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;My week was good, despite party food and drinks at the start of it. &#038;nbsp;Got in 2 runs, a couple bike rides, and a good long 3.5 mile walk. &#038;nbsp;Doing the push ups app every 3rd day or so. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;The biggest change was trying the 14 hr fasting overnight. &#038;nbsp;Seems to be really working for me. &#038;nbsp;I'm down 2 pounds that have been VERY stubborn since arriving in FL almost 3&#038;nbsp;months ago.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;This week I plan to continue the same - run every 3rd day roughly, push ups every 3rd day also, and bike or walk the other days. &#038;nbsp;Keeping with the 14 hr overnight eating window and see what happens.
