				<description>&#060;p&#062;I am overjoyed that 14 hr overnight fasting has been working for me so far. &#038;nbsp;Even went out for steak dinner, with wine and loaded baked potato and everything and lost weight. These few pounds have&#038;nbsp;been quite stubborn these last months so I am thrilled. &#038;nbsp;It's still preliminary but I'm excited to think it might be the final thing that helps me out of this plateau.

&#060;p&#062;I've improved about packing bentos. Not quite every day, but more than I was. I'm being less perfectionistic about it, just grabbing things from the freezer, filling the boxes and snapping a pic as a reminder of progress.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;And ... I finally made it to the pool during lap swim. Twice!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;And today did 11 minutes on the stairmaster. My heart rate kept going higher than it should that soon, and I've been feeling like I might be coming down with something, so I got off and took zinc with some miso soup.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Great to hear CC! &#038;nbsp;I have read that it's more effective for men and can sometimes goof with women's hormone balance. &#038;nbsp;I tend toward low blood sugar so I'm extra concerned about finding out all I can about it.&#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;2 friends I visited this weekend have lost a good 70 pounds each with first Medifast and now the 5/2 diet. &#038;nbsp;I found that coincidental that I looked into the IF a few days before hearing that's what this couple was doing. Not sure it's for me but I might try.&#038;nbsp;&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Mo, my husband has been doing the intermittent fasting for awhile now and has lost 25 lbs.&#038;nbsp; It works for him, and he says he's less hungry on the days he can eat.&#038;nbsp; I, on the other hand, need many small meals a day.  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  But strangely, I've lost weight too during his diet.&#038;nbsp; Since there's less emphasis on &#034;what's for dinner&#034;, several times a week, I'm free to eat veggie or whatever, and it's resulted in weight loss.&#038;nbsp; Also, my exercising is up...I'm dedicated to a spin class 2Xweek, and I'm walking 3X week to a class at the university.&#038;nbsp; These add'l activities have made more of a difference than I expected. Wine is still my downfall...

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I kinda stumbled a little by the end of the week. Being out of town visiting with friends will do that. &#038;nbsp;I had fun - no regrets! &#038;nbsp;But back in the saddle today. &#038;nbsp;I am seriously thinking about playing around with&#038;nbsp;intermittent fasting. &#038;nbsp;Been reading up on it for the last week. &#038;nbsp;I know the most important thing I could do is get some fresh foods and cook from scratch for starters. &#038;nbsp;Another thing is I may have to wrap my head around the idea of my shape changing now that I'm in my mid 40's. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;For this week - food logging, back to my push ups routine, and do one longer run once a week.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Goals this week - as from today cut out sugar and refined carbs until the work christmas party or I reach a certain goal. This time have told my DH and Mum (who do most of the cooking now) to help me stay accountable.&#060;br /&#062;For the first time I went for a walk in a lovely nearby park in my lunch break - am taking Janet's walking experience in.&#038;nbsp; With my whole possible celiac/ anemia situaltion I am unsure about how much excerise I can reasonably manage ( I did about 3.5 ks on the treadmill today with some walking) but i can usually manage a walk

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Well, I was up .8 lbs this week due to that TOM.&#038;nbsp; I also ate poorly but worked out at least 4 times last week.&#038;nbsp; I'm back to getting on track since I now have 6 weeks until Costa Rica.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Goals this week:&#038;nbsp; track food, exercise 5x this week including weights and cardio, eat more protein, less bad carbs, and drink lots of water. Wish me luck since it's so hard to this time of year.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Last week I was diligent on keeping the food diary (but little results.) &#038;nbsp;I didn't get much exercise--was feeling somewhat under the weather.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My experiment with added vitamin D--well after one week I can't say I feel better--in fact, as I note above, I haven't felt too energetic this week. &#038;nbsp;I will keep it up during the next few months of short days and cooler weather. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;This week I will keep up with the food diary, add back some exercise, including walking around the park as a minimum, and planning my strategy for holiday travel and eating. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;I hit a bump in the road this week... turns out that being able to do a boot camp class is not the same as being able to do boot camp class two days in a row!&#038;nbsp; I went to class Wednesday and did great, went back Thursday and thought I was going to die!&#038;nbsp; Gah!&#038;nbsp; I took Friday off and did class Saturday but still wasn't quite myself.&#038;nbsp; So I will go back to every-other-day-boot-camp for a while and see how it goes.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I also really want to clean up my food act so I will be doing some grocery shopping today toward that end.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hi everyone. How was your week?&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I wish I could say that I got a lot of exercise in, but this week it didn't happen. I had a nasty cold on Monday and by Wednesday I could tell it was trying to move into my chest. My asthma must have been feeling lonely, so it got in on the action too. The good news is that I think it's getting better. And no infection (fingers crossed)!&#038;nbsp;The goals this week include getting completely better (lots of liquids and maybe a few more breathing treatments) and hopefully by Wednesday I can start being active again.&#060;/p&#062;
