Thanks for starting the thread Mo!

I thought I was doing pretty well with my diet and exercise, but I guess not. I finally got to try on my wedding dress after we bought it back in December, and it wasn't pretty. While we could zip and button it up, it was pretty snug. I've still got a few months 'til the wedding, but now I'm terrified that it still won't fit. So now I need to find a new workout routine. Eek!

On a positive note, my foot is doing much better. :)

Was looking our for this thread. Thanks Mo!

I've started doing the workouts on fitnessblender.com. Trying to mix it up beyond running.

I sent away for a scale so I could have a better sense of how I'm doing. Also a new foam roller to deal with my chronic knee tightness..

Those bricks are fun. Funny how switching muscles is a very strange feeling. I'm jealous, I did a few tris but it was 8+ years ago.

<sigh> the scale is not moving despite pretty good food choices. It is possible, however, to eat too much of the good stuff too! The real culprit is nagging injuries that have stretched on too long this year and have put a damper on my usual exercises. On the positive side, I am in a groove in regards to weight lifting and that usually firms me up pretty quickly. Hopefully it will offset the less than optimal aerobic exercise.

In many ways a good week. For one, I reached a round number: 10 pounds lost! (Since early January.) Two or three more and I'll be there. So happy--it's been a year and a half since I got this low. I can at last wear my older jeans and skirts, although some of them are still not all that comfortable, especially when I sit.

Mo, maybe you do need a few extra calories while you are training. You must be expending a lot of calories in energy as it is.

It's easy to get lots of fruits and vegetables now. I'm making weekly trips to the local farm stand for fresh cherries, apricots and tomatoes. I'd rather eat cherries than any dessert I can think of.

Yes, making temporary peace with the new normal is hard. I'm there with you. I got walks in & plenty of fruits & veggies over the weekend, so just hoping to continue the trend. Still hoping for those last 5 lb. of baby weight to come off!

Oops! Looks like a long holiday weekend makes us forget our healthy habits!
I had a decent week with getting in most of my workouts. The pool was closed, so no swims.
Food is okay but not great. I did well with fruits and veggies for the most part, but a couple days not so fab. Wine was too much. Something to work on.
I seem to be staying up those couple pounds and just need to wrap my head around this new normal while I'm tri training. That is the hardest healthy habit for me right there!
This week I'm beginning bricks every week in my training (biking and then running immediately afterwards so your legs get used to the feeling). I had done a random one here or there but now it's time to get regular with them.

Your turn . . .
