				<description>I don't feel like I got much exercise over the weekend. A friend was in town with us and we entertained a lot. We did do a bit of walking down to the lake and wading through the water, but that wasn't much. The smoke from the Mexico agricultural fires is keeping the skies pretty hazy in Texas so I'm not really motivated to get out and walk until that clears (hopefully later this week for a few days at least). And our AC went out upstairs where the weight room is so it's going to be a hot workout today but I'm going to try and go for it.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;Aside from some homemade fish taco wraps (the fish was battered and fried - yikes!) I ate pretty healthy -- okay, I take that back, we went out for breakfast on Saturday and that was certainly not a healthy country breakfast we all had. Must make up for that this week.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;I'm not feeling very confident in my bathing suit right now (mostly belly issues) and it's summer temps already. sigh.</description>

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Was on the road for business, but walked lots during shopping!  Had a session with Evil Kevin the Personal Trainer Friday night, so started the weekend off well.  Swim coach posted a tough anaerobic workout and I got through the whole 3200 metres just under the allotted 90 min. Saturday morning.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Should have run today, but decided on a big spring cleaning of the kitchen.  Purged the kitchen cupboards of odd coffee cups and other mis matched items as well as any cooking items that were in poor repair or haven't been used in a year or more.  Worked up a sweat washing the walls, the cupboards inside and out, the floor, etc.

				<description>Oh - I really really need to get motivated to start working out (and eating better).&#038;nbsp; I've gained weight really quickly lately, and really don't like the way my clothes fit and look on me.&#038;nbsp; &#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;I walk every morning for about a half hour.&#038;nbsp; I know I would feel and look better if I did some weight training too....&#038;nbsp; My goal this week will to start some sort of weight training, and no sweets between meals.&#038;nbsp; &#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;Here's hoping that writing this down will give me the accountability boost that I need to start!&#060;br /&#062;</description>

				<description>I'm enjoying the primal / paleo diet immensely but supplementing it with a daily bit of chocolate. Since I wasn't able to lose weight when I was sweet-less, I have eased a bit and introduced some sugar here and there. Doesn't seem to be causing any problems, and I alternate one very low-carb day with one higher-carb day. These are still good carbs, just more on alternate days.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;It has been hard to be physical since my ankle sprain in March. Anything seems to aggravate it. So I'm trying Plyometric Push-Ups! They are hard on my ankles so I do them from my knees. It's fun! I'm also working on handstands. I love play exercises, like crawling, and I'm going to try somersaults. Soon you'll find me in the sandbox.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;A neat thing we recently started is brewing our own kombucha. Dang, it's tasty, and it gives us some great probiotics. I'm thinking my weight stubbornness could be a result of impaired flora, so this is a fun way to augment it. Fun science project too.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;Have a great week, strong and beautiful ladies!&#060;br /&#062;</description>

Went for one run, and still doing random planks most days. &#038;nbsp;But weight is up if anything. &#038;nbsp;Out to eat twice, and both times felt sooo big afterwards. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;This week I think I'll scale WAY back on the wine and no eating out until the scale budges. &#038;nbsp;Its in the 60's again so I plan to go running twice. &#038;nbsp;I have a weighted hula hoop on the way, and can't wait to use it. &#038;nbsp;Tired of muffin top!&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;As an aside, I've been very tired. &#038;nbsp;After the thyroid talk on the peri-menopause thread I'm tempted to go get a blood draw. &#038;nbsp;First, I'll see if the wine might be a factor. &#038;nbsp;</description>

				<description>I have no interest in running (or working out of any kind), haha! &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;I'm one week after the marathon and pretty much everything feels good again. &#038;nbsp;Still a very slight pain in the side of my right knee. &#038;nbsp;Funny enough, even though my muscles were very sore for a few days, it's my stomach that bothered me the most. &#038;nbsp;It was fairly upset there for a few days, but it seems good now.&#038;nbsp; I'm not sure when I'll get back to running, but I have NO interest right now, whatsoever, lol. &#038;nbsp;I'm guessing I'll take another couple weeks off, then start to feel guilty, and get back at it.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;As for eating, I have slowly gotten myself back to a paleo-ish diet. &#038;nbsp;We've had a few treats in the house though. &#038;nbsp;Our meals our good though, good quality meats and veggies. &#038;nbsp;I told DH after that Trifle in our fridge is gone, then I'm back on track and cutting out the sugar...he agrees and he's back on track to. &#038;nbsp;Which meeeeeans....I need to finish off the Trifle!! HAHA!&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;So I'll cheer you guys on this week while you work out, who know's, maybe next week I'll feel up to something.&#038;nbsp;</description>

				<description>Kristin, maintaining your weight is a huge victory!&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;That program looks like fun, Alicat!&#038;nbsp; Good luck!&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;I missed a week at the gym for one reason and another, between last Wednesday and this Wednesday.&#038;nbsp; But went back on Wed and did trainer sessions Wed and Fri, boot camp on Thurs and Sat.&#038;nbsp; And made it to tap class on Tues.&#038;nbsp; So not a total disaster.&#038;nbsp; Trainer Dave has been working me HARD, which I love.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;This week I am really going to concentrate on getting my eating under control.&#038;nbsp; I changed job sites this week and went out to lunch every day and that has to stop.&#038;nbsp; So I'm shopping for some brown-bag lunch supplies today.&#060;br /&#062;</description>

I've now got a new med to try, and it's one my mom has tried with&#038;nbsp;success, so I'm feeling pretty good about it working.
