				<description>&#060;p&#062;I was doing really well with low carb low processed sugar eating but fell off the wagon with fresh buns and birthday cake and the like. I do find now I don't eat as much of it because it really makes me feel awful.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;So tomorrow is another day, I will try and get back on the wagon. I have found that making a nice soup each weekend and freezing it in portions has really helped me for lunches at work. I am not as tempted to graze the candy jars or walk down to the caf to buy something.

				<description>Yesterday I spent about 2&#038;nbsp;hours squatting and bending and pulling in the garden doing some harvesting of potatoes, beets, onions and greens. (We now grow about 30-40% of our vegetables). It was a great workout really and my legs and bottom were sure feeling it later. The reward was a nice dinner at home. Went for a long hike on Saturday. &#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;I mentioned the breathing training device on the other thread last week (resperate)&#038;nbsp;- anyone with anxiety or high BP may want to check it out. It trains you to breathe more slowly and deeply. You can do it without a device but it just helps you get in the habit I think. I've seen a pretty big change by using it so far. No affiliation with the company or anything, just a rec by my doc a while back so I finally got one.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;I'm sticking with YLF and sites like apartment therapy instead of the news for hobby reading purposes. I do catch the headlines most mornings so I don't stay away from it altogether, but in general I think we all have information anxiety. I read a book by that title about&#038;nbsp;20 yeas ago and it was really such an insight into the current media.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;Hope you all have a happy, low stress week full of healthy eating and good exercise (outdoors if possible).  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span> </description>

				<description>Kristin, hope the migraines get solved. &#038;nbsp;My BF suffers with them as well. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;I pigged out completely today at brunch. &#038;nbsp;Ah, well. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;Rae, would love to hear about your race. &#038;nbsp;I really need to get out there again. &#038;nbsp;It's been since before my trip in late April that I've gone for a run. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;Today I vowed not to get on the scale for my birthday, and I don't think I will tomorrow either, but I've been back in goal weight range the last week. &#038;nbsp;Just need to concentrate on good food choices and toning up. &#038;nbsp;Been doing well with the food, and even logging it up until yesterday, so that's a big reason I'm still in range. &#038;nbsp;Minding the starchy carbs.</description>

My parents freak out ALL THE TIME because of CNN. Good luck with the neurologist; they are the expert in those headaches!!&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;@ Diane - You look great!  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  I try to take it easy on the salt intake a week before I have to do beach-y things.&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;@ Alicat - Zumba looks so fun, do you enjoy it?&#060;br /&#062;&#060;br /&#062;For myself; I've been increasing my long walks, but been a bit bad because it's dollar drink days at McDonalds and I usually enjoy a ice coffee on the way home - but at least it's not a fappy from Starbucks which I used to get? I hope the neurologist can help you.&#060;br /&#062; As for fitness well I did do a short workout earlier today but I just polished off my birthday chocs! Still at least they've gone now  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  &#060;br /&#062;Tiredness from menopause hase been a big problem for me, I hope to just try a couple of exercise bike sessions to see if they pick up my energy levels this week. Only two weeks till I go to Greece for my hols when I will do a lot of swimming. Trouble is no sign of a beach bod and I don't think I can do much for that in two weeks. Oh well...</description>
