God. &#038;nbsp;How the heck did I run a marathon? &#038;nbsp;I feel so out of shape already! &#038;nbsp;Haha! &#038;nbsp;I'm hoping it's just the cold I have going, and mayeb my body is still rebelling against running. &#038;nbsp;Lol, I feel like I'm a new runner.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Well, after a few weeks of &#034;relaxing&#034;, the weight has finally caught up with me. I have set up a challenge for myself to lose a few lbs. between June 1 - mid-August by increasing my activity levels, and decreasing the favorite bad foods (i.e red wine, cheese, crackers, and ice cream). &#038;nbsp;My goal is to tone up and get at least 5x a week of exercise.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;M, W, F - cardio (bike and run or take a tabata class)&#060;br /&#062;T, Th - weight training&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Well, I'm in the slow but steady return to my former levels of activity. I drove for the first time in two weeks today, so I took the opportunity to drive to one of my favorite running trail parks and took a 2.4 mile walk. I took it slow and no big hills (doc's orders) and felt good at the end. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm trying to stay away from sweets, which is hard. I know calorie counts are more of a concern while I'm not running 15 or so miles a week. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;A week from now I can resume swimming! Yay! And after my soreness in my abdomen is better, I can start back on gentle yoga too. Running is still another month away.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Good recovery from the 10K race the last weekend of May, with runs and swims.  Only one bike due to poor weather ( rain and cold).  Coach is increasing the length of swims ( up to 3300 m. now) and I'm still able to get it done in the time allotted.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Got invited to a 1.5 hr training ride this pm, and quads are still sore from leg day Sunday.  Hope I can keep up.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;First triathlon of the summer is in 2.5 weeks and I still haven't had an open water swim.  It snowed yesterday, but is supposed to warm up this week.

Two 5K runs and a 20K bike ride completed last week's workouts. This week I aim for three more. I've also thanked no to an ice cream today. Feels good!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I tried a kettlebell workout for the very first time yesterday.&#038;nbsp; &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Oh. my.&#038;nbsp; &#038;nbsp; I am sore!!! (And I'm pretty fit and used a light kettlebell! LOL)&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I think I've found my new love to replace my running (which has been out for nearly a year due to a foot injury that won't play nice!).&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Cardio, strength and flexibility and no impact all in one workout!&#038;nbsp; How much more could a girl want??&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Oh and we've been biking everywhere since the weather turned nice and I borrowed a bike from my SIL.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm loving that too! Feel like a kid again when I hop on the bike and head out!&#038;nbsp; Funny, a 51 year old kid...LOL&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm back on WeightWatchers using the Simply Filling method (no point counting) and I'm shedding the 10 pounds that I've put on since last year (see the no running for a year comment above...)&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;All in all, a good week!&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;I stayed active on vacation with some long beach walks. &#038;nbsp;Also did some Jessica Smith Youtube workouts while out of town. &#038;nbsp;My 26-year-old niece even did the Jessica Smith Beach Body&#038;nbsp;Pilates one with me, so fun!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Next week I plan on doing Week 3 of the Jessica Smith Summer Challenge.&#060;/p&#062;
