				<description>&#060;p&#062;Thank you amiable - I will look for the book! Like you, I might do better in the gym, but will at least attempt the 'at home' workouts for now. I'll give it a couple of weeks at home, and if it's not happening, then back to the gym I go. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Thanks again though for the book recommendation - I was already scratching my head, trying to remember my old gym routine and wondering if it could be adapted to home workouts at all. I have a few weights hanging around, but not all the equipment that you can get at a gym. Have no idea how I'd do back extensions or pull ups at home ...like I said, will look for that book - thanks! &#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;velvetychocolate - I liked the weight training work outs in a book called &#034;You are Your Own Gym&#034;, if you decide to work out at home, I'd recommend the book.&#038;nbsp; I discovered for myself, though, that I need an instructor and something mildly social about working out - I don't keep myself motivated.&#038;nbsp; (So I'm currently trying online workouts, with a little success).

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I hate to admit that I've been a real slug in the exercise dept. for a really long time!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My &#034;healthy habits this week&#034; contribution is that I managed to get my treadmill all set up in the basement, complete with flat-screen TV. All ready to go. It all starts tomorrow (isn't that always the way?). &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;With regard to weight training - I'm still waffling - join a gym or try and cobble something together at home. In the past, when I was doing some sort of regular weight training, it was always at the gym. Wondering if I can do most of it in my basement? &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Seems silly and not &#034;all that&#034; but I do have my super-heavy-to-move-around treadmill all set up now. Cleaned up the basement and have turned the &#034;rec room&#034; into something of an exercise room. &#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I did well this week.&#038;nbsp; Weight is creeping down every so slowly (we're talking tenths of pounds here), which I like.&#038;nbsp; Did two trainer sessions, a tap class, and three boot camps.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I have houseguests next week so not sure how that will affect my workout routine.&#038;nbsp; I am, however, positive it will be horrible for my diet!&#038;nbsp; LOL

				<description>&#060;p&#062;The weather cooperated so I got my bike training in during the commute to work.  No missed workouts, and actually an extra swim.  Masters swimming wrapped up with coach Tracy providing words of encouragement for all the folks with events this summer.  Yesterday, after a 5k run, I did my first open water swim of the season in a small lake that is just a couple of blocks walk from where I live.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I get to take it easy this week since next weekend I have my first triathlon of the season!  Sprint distance - 750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run.  It's on a hilly course, so I am not expecting a PB, but it will be a good test of my changed up training routine.  (Starting last November, I added strength training and core work with weekly guidance from a personal trainer.)

&#060;p&#062;This week was little rough. It's harvest, so things are a little crazy. This week I was able to work out for 30 minutes for 3 days on my Wii, so I think I may try to stick with that. I just need to find a workout that works for me. I wasn't able to go to the neurologist because of work, so my rescheduled appointment is now in a month. Uggg.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
