				<description>&#060;p&#062;To be accountable, I think I only did one halfhearted run this week. Classic stress patterns for me.&#038;nbsp;But tonight I bought a bunch of healthy food and did the math on calories, so I won't be able to lie to myself about caloric intake.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My extra motivation not to give into stress eating right now is that we booked a trip to Buenos Aires in mid Feb... it's going to be hot and humid, so I really really don't want to look doughy in my swimwear. Oy!

I have pledged to stay on track from today ( just went for a walk) and plan to do this daily, drink more water ( bought a new water bottle) and eat vegetarian (I don't eat much meat but want to cut it out completely)&#060;br /&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I'm in DianeG's 'sweet FA' club! I finally got to the doctors on Friday to get my dodgy knee checked out. It's most likely a slightly miss aligned knee cap so being referred for physio. Generally a 6 week wait so no high impact Zumba though he says I'm ok with Zumba Gold (though this doesn't restart till 13th Jan) and walking. Yesterday I walked the 15 minutes into town which did ease my knee slightly so I think I need to make a concerted effort to have a little walk everyday especially as it's school holidays and I've a tendency to loaf around! X

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Like Karie, the week off work lets me get to the gym more during the holidays, though swimming is on hiatus.  Did a treadmill run and a full weight routine yesterday and a 2 hour spin class today.  I was hoping to do an outdoor run tomorrow, but the weather is dipping really low (-30's and feels like -40's C.) so it will be the treadmill again.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My New Year's resolution is to learn how to use the Garmin Santa brought for Christmas.  I have been thinking I need to use a heart rate monitor in order to be more 'honest' with my effort.  Waited till the last minute before today's workout, and instead of heart rate I was told I accomplished 26 laps....during a 2 hr spin class!  Tech savvy DS#1 (who does the class too) just shook his head at me.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;My weight is way up to and past my super super emergency red light number, although not quite to my OMG it's the end of the world number.&#038;nbsp; There was much eating and drinking over Christmas!!&#038;nbsp; I came home with a bunch of sweets but yesterday I threw it all in the trash and feel better about that.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I did get four workouts in last week, so I'm counting that as a victory.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My big resolution is that I'm changing my eating to low-fat vegan, with the help of my new weekly organic veggie box.&#038;nbsp; Super excited about that.&#038;nbsp; I'm also going to cut way back on the alcohol.&#038;nbsp; No more solitary glass of wine in the evening!&#038;nbsp; And I'm hoping our tap dance lessons, which have been on hiatus, will resume in January!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Mo, I like the computer penalty time idea. I have the week off so I will get to go to Pilates or yoga (my favorites)&#038;nbsp;at the gym&#038;nbsp;every day but Fri. I do need to get back to doing&#038;nbsp;weight bearing exercises - I have relaxed on that since my foot surgery. Having gone through early menopause (at age 36), I have osteopenia and don't want it to go into osteoporosis. I have managed to keep that at bay, even reverse the osteopenia slightly, through calcium supplements&#038;nbsp;and weight bearing exercises.&#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;And right now I have three doggies that need walks&#038;nbsp;(one is mine, the other two are my mother-in-law's and we take care of them when she goes to FL in the winter). So I'd better get them outside before the snow starts this afternoon!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Keep on keepin' on, K! &#038;nbsp;I ran three times last week and did bodyweight exercises each day. &#038;nbsp;I decided I would do one for every 10 minutes spent online, alternating push ups, squats, and sit-ups. &#038;nbsp;Working well, so far. &#038;nbsp;Best if I do them every 2 hours, for a set of 12. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;I'm up on the scale, but feel firmer, so I'm not stressing on it. &#038;nbsp;PMS is a factor, too. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;Today is fun day including out for lunch, so I give myself a pass (every Sunday). &#038;nbsp;I plan to continue running and doing the computer 'penalty time' exercises  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-wink icon-emoticon-wink "></span>  &#038;nbsp;It would be great to weigh in under 120 in 3 days for the start of the year, but that remains to be seen lol.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hi everyone! I hope you've had a great week and a wonderful holiday!&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm feeling fairly proud of myself this week. I've been able to watch what I'm eating and cut back on the desserts. Still wasn't always eating the healthiest (I do love my momma's fried chicken), but I managaed to get a lot of walking in, so there is that,&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My goals for this week is to continue on course. The big one for me is not to beat myself up over missing a day. I think having goal, like fitting into my funky wedding dress bra more comfortably for the big day, is going to be my big one moving forward. That and working out so I can have more energy the day.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;What are your goals for next week? And if you have a New Year's resolution, please share it. One thing I love about this site (in particular&#038;nbsp;the people on this thread) is how we motivate each other to keep going.
