Mo - did you get moved yet? How was the drive?

Kristin - migraines are the worst! Hope you feel better!

Janet - sounds like you got back on the horse...has it been going better?

Anne - great idea to reward yourself with computer time for doing your exercise! I should try that!

Freckles - glad you have a new physio therapist....sounds like the last one was a disaster! What do you have to have worked?

As for me. Did a run today and yesterday. Only skipped Wednesday this week. My runs are sort of mundane....same thing all the time. I have to plan out my marathon training soon, since I think I will begin in Jan. that should, change things up anyway. Can't complain about the weather though, it's been great for running outside. I'm sure the snow will be here any day.

Started with a new physiotherapist this week as the one I went to in the summer nearly crippled me. Feeling very happy with the new one and getting started on this. Will be slow going which is what I need so very very happy with progress.

Went to the physio this morning and was told I can't really run any great distance until I get my leg and core etc stronger. Have decided to make myself do the exercises before I turn on the computer (YLF as an incentive!) Spin and weights are ok.

And I am not actually within a pound of my lower range weight - I miscalculated! I think in kg and since I am 600g over that is actually over a pound. No big deal but I don't want to lie!

Ugh, not a great start to the week. I wasn't feeling well Sat night/Sun morning, so I skipped my long run (6-7 miles) this weekend. And my eating has not been great, I feel like I might be up a couple of pounds. My mood has been in the crapper too -- I suspect a little bit of seasonal depression is trying to creep in.

I made myself go for a run yesterday -- just 3 miles but I felt a lot better for it. Ate much more healthy yesterday (salad, veggie sandwich), which also felt like it got me back on track a little more. I feel like I'm struggling a bit, and I'm discouraged I'm going to look awful in a swimsuit in Hawaii, but it's not like anything drastic is going to happen to my body in four weeks, so I'd better just adjust my attitude!

I've been trying to stay good with walking about 1.5 miles on work days and eating right, but I don't think it's going to get anywhere until I get my oral exams done. I have a big committee meeting today and my oral exam is a week from today! Between getting too worked up to eat, then eating everything in sight and the wonderful migraines, nothing feels like it's getting done.

I'm less than 24 hours from starting our drive across the country so everything is off kilter. I will walk 1.5 miles today for change of address forms and to collect my last few bucks from the consignment store.
Food is, and has been, literally whatever is left in the fridge that we need to eat up. I am 118.5 today (after a summer of being over 120) and packed away the scale. My aim is to maintain 118.5 through the move and the long hours in the car and the road food.
And once I get home, running will be less likely due to snow, so I need to shift gears and hit our home gym and concentrate on weights.

-14 today; still made the 2.8 km walk - didn't take the stairs though at work today; after a few flights, my asthma was set off and coughed up a storm. :p

Rae you are definitely going for it with the running.

I meant to go out for my first run in a few weeks today but there was an alarm misfunction.

I am still losing weight with no exercise. Of course it is nice to see the scale going down (I am less than a pound over what I would consider the bottom of my normal "range) but I can't help thinking I must be losing it from my muscle.

Okay, I'm back in. Eating is still going to be a problem till the kitchen is in. But I'm back to climbing at the rock gym and hope to get out for a run this week if the temps get above 5...

I ran tonight, which is good because Sunday usually seems to be one that I skip. So already got one done for the week, yay! Looks like the weather will be above 0C this week, so I will most definitely get some runs done outside. I'm trying to pick up my speed. My hardcore marathon training begins in the New Year. I wanted to be back to my normal running shape by Christmas time and I feel like I'm very much there. I didn't run at all while pregnant (well not after 10 weeks anyway) so I wasn't sure if I would get here, but it went very well. So just putting in some sprints until it's time for the real training. Have a good week!

I'm getting in a yoga& a Pilates before going away for two weeks.
We have a wedding & a family get-together before Christmas so I'm going into damage limitation. Will really be watching the carbs & going for a long walk every day if possible. It's hot here so lots of salads.

December already! But with rain and 60s (15+ C) it hardly feels like winter here in Wisconsin.

I'm going biking :-)

How's everybody doing?
