				<description>&#060;p&#062;In my move to try and not use pounds on the scale as my sole measure of success, I decided to&#038;nbsp;have a goal of doing an unassisted&#038;nbsp;pull up by the end of fall. &#038;nbsp;I started 2 months ago with 1/3 my weight as a counter balance doing about 3 pullups. &#038;nbsp;Then 2 or 3 with 1/4 of my weight. &#038;nbsp;Yesterday with 1/5 body weight counter balance I managed 1 and almost a second. &#038;nbsp;Got about my nose up to the bar. Can't wait to move to 1/6 my weight&#038;nbsp;- maybe by my birthday next month!

I finally got my treadmill set up in the basement so I could keep up my workouts in cold weather (as expected, I wimped out of running outside as soon as it dipped close to freezing... in November) just in time for it to be almost warm enough to run outside again. &#038;nbsp;I've restarted the Couch to 5K program and am now on week 3. &#038;nbsp;I did pretty well last week, ran three mornings with a bit of arm exercise with free weights and a nice stretch after. &#038;nbsp;I also did a 30 minute dumbell workout one morning.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My goal for this week is the same: 3x Couch to 5K with a bit of arm work and stretching after and one dumbell workout. &#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I'm finally recovered after my conference week then having a bad cold last week. &#038;nbsp;Time to start up working out again.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm also working toward lessening my sugar intake - I decided not to eat sugar when I'm alone or out of stress&#038;nbsp;- if I'm craving it, I'll drink mint tea or eat a carrot or some raisins. &#038;nbsp;So far it's going well.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm also down three pounds&#038;nbsp;from a few weeks ago (which is when I last weighed in). &#038;nbsp;I'm not sure how that happened, honestly. &#038;nbsp;But I'll take it.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Frequency of workouts down, but intensity good.  Some actual weight loss, in part due to 'stress' depressing appetite, and in part only cooking for one (DH relocated for work the start of March. ). Did better this weekend, nice salads (avocados on sale at market!) and fish.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Last week visited DH, went house hunting. During the visit, I checked out the local pool and had a good swim.  Without a coach, or lane buddies, I still got some really good times.  I need to step up the running though, 'cause I've got a 10k the end of May.

&#060;p&#062;Mo, I find outdoor exercise helps clear my head when I am stuffed up but don't think I could run with a head cold. &#038;nbsp;Have you tried double dosing antihistamines? &#038;nbsp;I had a cold in Mexico and used Reactine (zyrtac in US) and a cold tab and managed to kick it in about 4 days. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;MaryK, I am sure having time with the marine was worth sacrificing the routine. &#038;nbsp;Good to see you are getting back on track now.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Citygirl, you are the girl on fire. &#038;nbsp;:) &#038;nbsp;I use myfitnesspal too and love that it syncs with my fitbit as well.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;It is still winter here but above 0 the last few days so the snow has finally started to melt. &#038;nbsp;Its too wet to get out much yet but soon. &#038;nbsp;I started using the elliptical and treadmill and trying to get a few miles a day in. &#038;nbsp;I lifted light weights yesterday for the first time in longer than I can remember. &#038;nbsp;The quads and glutes are starting to tighten up a bit now but I will try to do another light session on Monday or Tuesday. &#038;nbsp;I have been better with food too. &#038;nbsp;I am down a bit since I got home from vacation even though I have had two one week trips and hotels can be tough.&#060;/p&#062;

I have been walking daily and have added weights yet again after putting them aside during some PT. 				<description>&#060;p&#062;&#060;div&#062;&#060;div&#062;As you may know, I tend to be more active when the weather turns nice. Here are some things I did last week:&#038;nbsp;&#060;/div&#062;&#060;div&#062;&#060;br /&#062;&#060;/div&#062;&#060;div&#062;-I finally started riding my bike to work (after a cold winter), which was / is AWESOME because I get to work much quicker than driving or taking the subway (which is&#038;nbsp;a block away from my house). Work is only 3 miles from my house and I get there in 20-25 minutes. Extra APs for me.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;-I also went to the&#038;nbsp;gym 5x last week which included a&#038;nbsp;strength training session&#038;nbsp;with my trainer, some&#038;nbsp;running, a couple of&#038;nbsp;HIIT and&#038;nbsp;classes and then today was the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile race which I did pretty well consider my heel was acting up and my last long run was 2 Fridays ago. &#038;nbsp;I'm thinking that I will attempt to wake up early and run even though I'm not a morning person. Not every day but maybe 2x a week.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;- Great site:&#038;nbsp;&#038;nbsp;MyFitnessPal.com is a free site that keeps track of exercise, food intake, &#038;nbsp;calories burned and calories needed on those active days. &#038;nbsp;It has a large database of foods and can find the calories of just about an food item, and you can your own recipes and&#038;nbsp;figure out the calorie content of those foods.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;This week: &#038;nbsp;rest my foot, PT with my trainer, and possible HIIT classes. Will you know next week how I'd do.&#060;/div&#062;&#060;/div&#062;

&#060;p&#062;Last week my modest goal was two trainer sessions and two boot camp classes, and I only made two trainer sessions and one boot camp.&#038;nbsp; And we won't even talk about the food -- far too much eating out, far too much popcorn at far too many movies!&#038;nbsp; LOL&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;glad you're feeling better and not as tired. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;I am still fighting some kind of crud. &#038;nbsp;I went for a practice 10K run on Thursday and did well, but it made my congestion worse and I'm still coughing up stuff and hitting the Robitussin. &#038;nbsp;I want to run 2 more times before deciding if I'm ready for the 10K race this Saturday. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;Hit the gym for weights twice last week and am going again today with BF. &#038;nbsp;Oh, also used the weighted hula hoop for a couple minutes twice. &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;Wine was good, no more than 12 ounces at any one time. &#038;nbsp;Might blow that today if we go out for dinner coupled with champagne&#038;nbsp;Sunday;) &#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;&#038;nbsp;

&#060;p&#062;Mine was pretty good. I'm finally getting into the swing of things at work, so I'm not feeling quite as tired as I have been. Which means I still have energy to exercise! I didn't do as much yoga as I had hoped, but that's ok. It's been easier that this job to say no to yummy goodies people bring in because the kitchen's across the building for me. I know I still need to work on my willpower when it comes to delicious, sugary things, but I like having an extra barrier instead of next door. I am pretty proud of my eating habits otherwise. I've realized I don't crave Cokes anymore, unless I have an upset stomach. An I'm finding myself going towards more fruits and veggies when I'm hungry instead of chips.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My goal for this week are to give it a go with yoga again. I remember someone mentioned a web video set by a lady named Jessica something. Does anyone remember the rest of her name or her site?&#060;/p&#062;
