I didn’t do so well at the NAS. On Amazon prime day, I impulsively bought an inflatable stand-up paddle board. I was initially on a waitlist, but quickly got off it,  had 15 minutes to decide. Quick googling showed it was a decent basic/beginner style.&#060;br /&#062;
I went camping this weekend &#038;amp; tried it. One, inflating it is quite the tricep workout. First round out I stayed on my knees, there was some wind &#038;amp; boat wakes. We were at a lake in the Cascades. Others in my group tried it, and all of them were able to stand up. So I went out again. I think I fell in three times. But eventually had a shaky stand-up stance.&#060;br /&#062;
I had planned to try again today, but oh my goodness my legs were sore, really sore.

&#060;p&#062;My goal this month is to swim once a week. I’ve just been on a short break to Fiji and forgot how much I enjoyed being the water. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I also want to fit a regular acupressure massage in if possible. I carry all my tension in my shoulders and this is one way to get it out.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I’ve been low carb/high fat for almost 2 years now and it keeps my blood sugar levels at non-diabetic levels (I’m Type 1).

&#060;p&#062;I found walking and gentle abs/pelvic floor exercises enough for the first three months.&#038;nbsp; I did get back into running and swimming slowly after that with mixed success.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am improving my running and running regularly twice a week.&#038;nbsp; Gymming three times a week and the odd walk and yoga.&#038;nbsp; Not much alcohol but I have relaxed my treats a little too much and am reining that in again.&#038;nbsp; This is a pattern with me - to be restrained for a month then relax into slacker patterns.&#038;nbsp;&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;First and foremost, Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!!! He or she will keep you most active I am sure. In the meantime I hope you get the much needed sleep!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I have added &#034;Foundational Fitness&#034; to my training program and my trainer has created a program for me to do at the gym whenever I want, in addition, to the 2 days of training with him. That works out great for me since I do not have to schedule these sessions like my personal training and can come to the club during the off hours (12-3pm) and perform my workouts.

Working in a medical fitness facility with a bunch of fitness and nutrition crazed people has been motivating and enlightening! &#038;nbsp;My goal is to lose weight - for health reasons, and for aesthetic reasons, and this seems to be the best documented method to do so. &#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;June was surprisingly filled with more physical activity than anticipated. Finishing off the last week of the month:&#060;br /&#062;
*slightly reducing my squat volume, but still working up to 205lb&#060;br /&#062;
*alternating long cardio sessions with active rest days to give my knees and back a break&#060;br /&#062;
*adding in some pull-downs to help with lower back pain&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I took one day off entirely to enjoy our wedding anniversary, and unexpectedly gave birth the following day.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Needless to say, my only July goal at the moment is to sleep and walk—the former, where possible, and the latter, beginning  around the middle of the month. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;What are your plans?
