				<description>&#060;p&#062;This week has been fine.  I didn't exercise this week because I ran an 8k on Sunday and need a bit to recover.  I'll be back at the gym on Monday.  I&#034;m trying with the food and am back to tracking calories again.  I'm not perfect about it but it's better than nothing.  My weight was down about half a pound this week, hooray!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Bit late, but I've been working away from home this week. I only travel daily but it always upsets my routine. The first day I didn't take lunch and the ONLY place close was a convenience store without a vitamin in it as far as I could see! The other days I took food and was fine, but it's always a challenge when routines change.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm just going to recap for myself the habits I've established:&#060;br /&#062;
Pint of water first thing, at lunchtime and in the early evening&#060;br /&#062;
5 portions of fruit and veg a day&#060;br /&#062;
Thinking about food as I eat it (ooh, I've only just remembered that one...)&#060;br /&#062;
1 portion of nuts and seeds&#060;br /&#062;
Eating every 3-4 hours&#060;br /&#062;
Exercise - walking quickly rather than slowly &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I found that walking quickly enough to be out of breath has been a good way of starting to exercise. I do this when I'm walking to work etc and that's been fine. Next habit will be to add some 'proper' exercise (like everyone else has been doing since January!). I'm going to aim for once a week - either swimming (doing intervals) or a proper walk with the dog. Actually I may try for establishing a regular brisk evening walk with the dog. Usually I do something in the day but it's a bit hit and miss and this would be additional to that and I wouldn't have to carry a heavy bag.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Hmmmm thinking aloud... Weight seems about the same, although I'm on my comedy scales that fluctuate by about 14 pounds depending where I put them and how I stand...&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;MaryK--your weight loss is a remarkable and inspiring achievement.  [Applause]&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am maintaining and that is fine for now.  Monday (yesterday--it seems like a week ago) my husband had major abdominal surgery that should repair the problem that has caused the string of serious infections in recent weeks.  Even though I thought I was well-prepared for this it has been an incredibly stressful two days.  My long-time friend came to stay with me for a few days--she is a therapist and is a great person to have around during a time of crisis.

&#060;p&#062;I had a much better food week and the scale is down a bit this morning, allthough it's looking like I probably won't make my under-120 goal by Thursday, which is my one-year weight-loss-surgery anniversay.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Exercise continues to be awesome.  So. in. love. with Boot Camp Dave!!  And I'm kind of in love with my nice muscular legs, too. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I, uh, met with a cosmetic surgeon yesterday about taking care of my post-weight-loss turkey neck, and I really liked him and the price wasn't completely overwhelming.  So I may be looking at doing that in early July...  *shuffle*

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Welcome Nicole!!  I hit a bit of a food speed bump, as well.  Let's just say DQ Blizzard for dinner Sunday.   <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-razz icon-emoticon-razz "></span>   But I got on the indoor bike twice and am putting more and more weight on the twisted ankle each day.  I was down to a 2 year low on my weight mid week but I'm sure the Blizzard took care of that!  I'm not looking to lose really, anyway.  Just need to maintain while I'm laid up.  Not being able to grocery shop is impacting my diet and I can't wait until I'm able to shop those aisles again.  So my focus this week is to get in those 3 minimum fruits and veggies each day and hop on that bike more often.  Oh, and my ultimate goal is to be able to use the cane so I can go places on my very own like a big girl!!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Have missed a week or 2 because don't have much computer access (DH needs the home computer for work and only sometimes brings it back at night).&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Anyway have decided not to focus on losing weight since I can't seem to get up any motivation to do it and as far as I know, don't need to, medically speaking.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Instead I am going to follow Polly's example and work on making some healthier choices. This week I am working hard on getting enough sleep. (6- 61/2 broken hours is not enought for me.) This is always hard as a busy MOTG trying to fit in exercise and with a night owl as a husband. However I must get better as I have been plagued by headaches. Also am driving 21/2 hours on Fri night, to a conference  then back home on Sat night. Would like to be awake for both trips and the conference so have resolved on a 10:30 bedtime and as close to 9:30 on the nights prior to my morning runs (although I already know that will be very difficult)&#060;br /&#062;
Went back to the gym for the first time this month to do a step class yesterday and will return for the morning tommorrow.&#060;br /&#062;
Must go to be NOW!!!

I managed three Yoga classes and three walking sessions, but food was terrible and I put on weight again.It was a very stressful week, and I am a stress eater. I'm headed in the right direction with food, finally. I know that as soon as I start eating better I will start feeling better.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Wow--- did everyone miss this or is there another one of these babies that everyone else replied to?&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Healthy habits is going alright for me. This was my spring break (so I went to visit my grandparents, party hardy!). I wasn't at the gym, but I got my two workouts in with swimming and some water aerobics at a motel pool at the beginning of the week and then I went out spur of the moment with a friend of Saturday night because she was having a really hard time (we went dancing and then walked all over the city-- I was about dying after about 30 min, but made it about an hour or so). Killed my knee though, can't figure out if I twisted it or just the stress or dancing with my short friend and short guys. LOL. I bounce back though-- it is the one benefit of being pretty flexible--- really hard to strain or tear things. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Eating was just so-so. We had company most the week and ate out alot. I'll have to see how much damage I have done.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Anyway, been feeling really crummy since friday with nausea and feeling like I got all the electricity sucked out of my batteries. Ugh!

&#060;p&#062;I was mostly happy with my progress this week: my weight is down slightly; I did crossfit 3 times, went running once, and went to yoga 3 times. I had pretty good food choices at some meals out this week, but on Saturday I overate.&#060;/p&#062;
