				<description>&#060;p&#062;Yep, Barbara, the terrilbe heat had me switching runs for swims and my indoor bike!  Just got in some yoga today, which I've put on the back burner too long.  Good for you for battling back to fighting weight.  I do the same, with indulging myself up a few pounds and then having to get back to business.  I figure it's better to play around with 2 or 3 pounds rather than let it become a 5 or 10 lb battle!  I could use some fresh summer produce in the house . . . thanks for the reminder  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>

&#060;p&#062;I've been pretty good - the horribly hot weather here in NC has forced me to cancel my 2.5 mile around-the-neighborhood walks, but I just put more mileage on my elliptical.  I was up two pounds from going semi-wild with carbs, but I managed to resist potato chips and dropped back down to my 'fighting weight.'&#060;br /&#062;
It's easier to stay on track in summer, with all the fabulous fruits and veggies available.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Khris is smart about her homemade goodies - I make low fat/low carb versions of carrot cake and blueberry muffins.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;So congrats to Rae, Lynn, Mary and Brenda for keeping it together!!  MaryK, I know what you mean about being sidelined and surprised with a loss at the end of it all - happened to me with my ankle months back.  Makes no sense, but we'll take it, right?!&#060;br /&#062;
Khris, I hope things continue to go well with all the baking - that would do me in for sure!  As it is, I'm struggling a little with not being able to just run to the grocery when I want for things.  I have to be more of a planner now that the BF and I are sharing a car.&#060;br /&#062;
Polly and Anne, the good news is it's never too late to start again!   <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>   I am finding a bit of a belly out of nowhere  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-sad icon-emoticon-sad "></span>   so I've added ab work to my nightly push up routine.  It's a start.

&#060;p&#062;I'm doing pretty well.  I'm working toward my year goal of 10,000 cardio minutes for the year.  I'm keeping track of those minutes at Sparkpeople.com.  And my weight is holding steady.  I've actually lost another 3-4 lbs from where I maintained for a few months and I like where I am better.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I too have fallen off the wagon. Don't have internet access in the day, so my calorie counting went by the wayside. Far too inspired by masterchef to cook deserts.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Exercise was going well until a 10 days ago when I got another cold. Am about better now, and planning to do a 5K fun run this week rather than the initial plan of a 10k.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;And it has been really cold so hard to get around to weighing myself. I did it yesterday and discovered I was up again at my highest non pregnancy related weight ever yesterday(down a little today - was restrained after that shock)  Also that my waist measurement is same as my Mum's. Admittedly she is an inch shorter and a pretty 65 year old but still...&#060;/p&#062;

Trying to watch my grocery budget closely because of the move means that I am doing a lot of baking/cooking. Not the best thing for weight loss, but at least I can control what goes into homemade goodies.

I thought for sure that I would balloon up during the last two and a half weeks since my surgery, since I haven't been able to work out and my BFF provided lots of way-too-tasty goodies during the immediate postop period.  Not to mention the liberal procurement of celebratory margaritas last weekend in San Diego!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;But lo and behold, I have actually lost a half pound since my nip/tuck and am holding steady at my lowest weight yet.  Go figure!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I see the doc on Thursday and I hope he will clear me to go back to the gym -- if not for boot camp classes, at least for some moderate trainer sessions.

But I have finally gotten a little more focussed, have rejoined Weight Watchers, and have lost 1.5kg. 				<description>&#060;p&#062;I will admit to falling pretty hard off the wagon the end of last week.  I no longer have a car, and so I can't get to the pool for laps and it's way too hot to run lately.  That leaves me with indoor workouts at home, of which I'm pretty bad at fitting in.&#060;br /&#062;
I also decided against the triathlon (it happened Sat) and so I don't have a training schedule to keep me on my toes.  My motivation is lacking basically.&#060;br /&#062;
So, my new motivation is to have my fall jeans fit with some comfortable breathing room, rather than barely zipping up as they do now. :)&#060;br /&#062;
I have been quite successful at making pushups a habit right before bedtime these last few months, so perhaps it's time to add crunches to that.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;How is everyone else doing?  Have workouts slipped by the wayside with vacations and family outings, etc?  Or do you have a committed routine you stick with no matter what?
