				<description>&#060;p&#062;I finished my whole30 but only lost 2 lbs. &#038;nbsp;I am okay with that though because even though the scale doesn't show as much progress as I had hoped for, I do feel firmer and smoother in the hip area. &#038;nbsp;I think that is due to the significant increase in the running and walking. &#038;nbsp;I am making my whole 30 a whole 45 or 60 because the sinus issues have been almost non-existent for the duration.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I haven't had a great week for exercise. &#038;nbsp;Ran once, golfed once and walked once. &#038;nbsp;I plan to run later today though. &#038;nbsp;My fiance lives here week on week off to align with his parenting arrangements and it is easier for me to get my exercise and eat less when I am alone so I suspect next week will be better. &#038;nbsp;:)&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I had my annual exam today. The doctor noted that she hadn't seen much of me the last year or more. Thank goodness--apart from aches and pains I am healthy. Overall I'm in good shape--I did get an X-ray of my foot--the one that makes it too painful to wear lace up shoes--and got a pneumonia booster and a thyroid blood test.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;We talked about my concerns that I need more core strength, but I don't want to bug my arthritic knee or my hip bursitis, and my lower back. She came up with some good ideas for me to try.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I would still like to lose the last five pounds that hangs around my middle, and maybe getting the foot problem solved and trying new exercises will make it easier to move around more.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Overdid the food on the weekend, quesadillas, guacamole, and some high calorie treats, but I'm back on track. I had been forgetting to do yoga and it is amazing at how quickly I get stiff and tight if I don't.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am really motivated to lose the 5 pounds and get stronger--3 weddings coming up in the next 3 1/2 months.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Sorry to go on so long, but it is a relief to find out that I am on the right track health-wise.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;After the tests I went across the street and down the block to the mall where I checked out the NAS. Didn't buy anything--but a relief to see there wasn't much there I really need.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I stayed on the diet I mentioned last week and am still down a kilo, though less than I was before my planned weekend of exceptions, (visit to friend involving cake on Thurs, work function on Fri night, weekend away including massive meal at the pub) Plus it has been very cold by our standards&#038;nbsp;and I succumbed to having cereal with hot milk for brekkie this morning.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My exercise has been back and forth. I managed to do a spin class, some cardio and intervals last week - 3 visits to the gym. But bushwalking on the weekend (much less strenous, I would have thought) hurt my hip and leg so I'm having a day off.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Right there with you Kelly.  I did a 10K in May, but it was tough.  Since my triathlons are sprint distance, I only need the 5k.  Doing a hybrid next weekend, though, with a 7.5k run, so trying to build up.  Tough.  Seems more of a mental thing than physical.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Had a busy week at work and home, which left me a little tired.  Still, with another event coming up, couldn't take it too easy!  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;5 runs, 1 bike, 1 swim, 1 yoga.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Food was good.  I stayed out of the ice cream, and coffee consumption was down.  Did better with hydration, but could still do better with H2O - especially with the hot weather we are having.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Finally, my weight seems to be back down to the normal range instead of &#034;high normal.&#034; I've been keeping up with my running and doing &#034;diamond&#034;pushups (because I read they are the &#034;perfect&#034; pushup.) Not sure that's true but that's what I did this week. My goal for this next week is to try and bust through my plateau--I'm stuck at 5k and have a hard time making myself run much more than that. Hope everyone has a good week and keeps plugging along!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;After my holiday from exercise which ended up being five days I have been quite busy again. &#038;nbsp;Back at the gym, a mountain bike ride, and lots of walking. &#038;nbsp;Also a fair amount of holiday winter eating, not junk food, but a few glasses of wine :)&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Rain can be hard, and demotivating to exercise in, &#038;nbsp;Hopefully Shedev you are in a part of the US that needed it.
