Late to reply. Last week was intense. I had an article conditionally accepted for inclusion in a book, but the editors wanted me to add four pages, which required a lot of research and revising.

Good-bye exercise and keeping track of what I ate and drank.

Turned it in Sunday. Now I have a lot of catching up. My exercise today is cleaning up the house and weightlifting boxes of kitty litter--the kitties are going to be very angry with me soon if I don't stock up.

This week I'm starting weight training a bit more. I still have 10 pounds to shed, and they're not going to just fall off. So careful eating and weight training it is.

It's a high stress week for me though, and another next week. Next week will be a business trip and conference. I know that the food options will be limited, and I'll be ravenous when I finally get to eat, so I'm mentally prepping to make good choices in the midst of that (go for the veggies, not the desserts....)

Shedev - weight is always good when steady, right? :)

Last week was good for me also. I managed to control my eating and ended up exercising 6 days a week. I got on the scale and was surprised that I hadn't weighed more than I had thought. Hopefully I'll see some weight loss this week.

My exercise schedule for the week:

Sun: 8 miler run - DONE

Mon: rest from running, Stronglifts 5 x 5 - begin week 2 - DONE

Tue: easy run 4 miles

Wed: Stronglifts 5 x 5, 5 mile intervals 2min jog:2min hard

I started physical therapy for my broken ankle on Friday and I can tell it's going to be a big help. I only did one physical therapy session and one session with Trainer Dave last week but I did a fair amount of walking over the weekend so that's something, anyway.

Food hasn't been very good -- lots of eating and drinking over the weekend LOL!

I'm seeing the orthopod today so hopefully he will clear me for a little more exercise. I have three trainer sessions and two physical therapy sessions planned for the week. And New Guy is going to be out of town next weekend so hopefully I will be able to skip the whole "eating and drinking to excess" thing.

Well done on your steady and improved weeks. Glad you are on the mend Runcarla.
I only managed one run, but I did have 2 sessions (free) with a PT. Boy did he work me hard!!
Diet wise, I introduced dairy again last week and may have a few small issues with it after all. Finetuning things
I had quite a lot of social eating on the weekend, and also made a (rare) trip to a gluten free bakery so weight is consequently up a little but still in my acceptable range. I fitted into some shorts I hadn't worn all summer.

I have had a very hectic last few days and am looking forward to a somewhat calmer week.

I did better on eating. And I lost 2 pounds having not lost any since January 7 despite introducing swimming 3-5 times a week. Definitely needed to readjust diet and cut back on alcohol. This week, swimming 4 X. Did some arm work using body weight/lifing. Going to do a four day cleanse starting tomorrow. Feeling like I am getting back on the weight loss horse. Finally.

Keeping up with my daily Yoga practice. I am going to miss the studio in Florida. Every morning there is a vigorous 90 min class. DH and I have booked a house for next Feb and Mar here.

Eating is fine.

Doing research on Yoga Teacher Training. My goal is to start in the next 5 years. Could be sooner.

Still not 100% over my head cold, but sick and tired of being sick!

Run x 2 and swim x 1, but half regular distances. Regular bike, and Yoga. Yoga was more 'vigorous' since we had a guest teacher, who led a different style of class.

Signed up for a 10k end of May, and a triathlon (Sprint distance) end of June.

I'm having some gastro problems, so have been careful with food.

Steady week here too. The gym instructor has been pushing us really hard!! I am definitely eating less refined sugar than I used to, I need to increase vege though. Lots of salads over summer but now time to get into more cooked vege and even soup soon....

My week was ok. Weather was good enough to take the dogs for walks. Food was good, doing a little better staying on plan. Weight held steady.
