				<description>&#060;p&#062;Lots of getting&#038;nbsp;back on track. I did my first workout of 2015 yesterday. I'm&#038;nbsp;feeling it a little in my abs, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. It's stretching for me today.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Ms Maven, getting back into our regular routines is really helpful.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;AT Lynn, external motivation helps. My sister enlisted me to work out with her.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Kiwigal, sounds like your vacation is really great. Looking forward to your observations.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Alasse, it's way too cold for outdoor walking here too.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Tr3kkie9rl, a little a day is a great start.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;citygirldc, that first day back can be rough. I shortened some of my sets, but I,m still feeling it a little.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I weighed in on NYE, and was dismayed at the weight. &#038;nbsp;So I made a plan. &#038;nbsp;I want to lose 27 pounds. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;My first steps are to only eat fruits and veggies between meals (no sweet snacks) and to work out daily. &#038;nbsp;I'm also tracking fruits and veggies - trying to get 5 or more per day.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I also set up rewards for myself - the first one is at 7 pounds lost, then every 5 pounds after that. &#038;nbsp;They are generally all fashion purchases, and I'm genuinely looking forward to them  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Since New Years day, I've been sick, and have lost almost 6 pounds. &#038;nbsp;I seriously doubt my ability to keep it off, so I'm not shopping for warm sweaters quite yet (that's my 7 pound reward). &#038;nbsp;:)&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;But I feel good about this new system. &#038;nbsp;And in spite of being sick, I've done a light-weight work out each day.&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;The last 4 weeks have been bag. I'm up 3 lbs. and feel it in my tummy and thighs. I'm tracking what I'm eating and trying to eat healthier, plus increase the activity. The main thing is cutting back on the wine intake.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I took a HIIT class yesterday and by the end of class my legs felt like jello, and today, well you can imagine how sore I am. Remember the old school motto: No Pain, No gain? &#038;nbsp;Well, I definitely feel the PAIN.&#038;nbsp;It felt good to get back. Now if I can only 10 lbs. off of me. &#038;nbsp;:)&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hola from Buenos Aires.  We are here for a week,then back to Santiago!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Exercise has been okay, lots of walking, three runs, two gym sessions, hiking up a mountain, and hiring bikes for seaside trips.  And lots of city walking.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Eating was okay in Chile, the fruit and veges were stunning.  So tasty.   And we ate in a lot.  Here we are eating out and the options are not always healthy.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I have drunk lots if red wine though!!!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I am reading the forum some days and will add some observations on my return!!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I've planned my meals for the week and have healthy lunches packed for the next two days. &#038;nbsp;I didn't participate in the healthy habits thread in 2014, but my change for 2015 is to make an external commitment to do something very active 3x a week. &#038;nbsp;In the winter, this will mean signing up in advance for classes. &#038;nbsp;In the spring, maybe a race. When internal motivation is low, external commitments keep me moving. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
